I love the soft blue blazer, it looks fantastic on you and a good example of how ‘your colors’ can make you glow.

A rule that I finally broke is having black items. I never wear them. I have spent so much money buying black tops, coats, shoes, and clothing items based on a minimal closet wardrobe and I never wore them. I prefer tans and blue for my neutrals.

Have you ever dealt with wanting even less in your wardrobe? I’m finding that I’m slowly removing even more from my closet. I don’t even miss the items I just removed and gave to a friend. It’s happening within my whole house and I’ve become more of a minimalist within the last 3 years. I’m now trying to figure out how to declutter some paper items. It’s not a lot but it’s important stuff. I have also committed to using up ALL of a product in my home before I purchase a new one like…body lotion, lipstick, or cleaning supply. I am simplifying cleaning products and seeing how I can consume less of these items. It feels really good.

I really love the colours on your rail today, though I know they are not looking much different than many other times! I have often thought that these colours look so amazing on you, and while they are ones that perhaps don’t look so great on me, they are so soothing and so beautiful. A type of clothing hygge!

I know lots of people who are afraid of colour and end up looking washed out. I use scarves and shoes to add colour. That blazer is lovely!

I'm a believer of you can wear anything as long as it looks appealing to the eyes. But I might be wrong.

3:33 I love this outfit! Nice idea to match it with that blazer and those brown accessories. I own many dark green tops too, but I avoid pairing it with brown trousers. Don't want to look like a "tree" 🤣

Great video, Signe, thank you! Indeed the world of color is very complex and has many layers. I agree with general rules, but sometimes I've been surprised by how certain colors look on me or other people.

Super ideas for colour and style combinations. I quite like the idea of adding a beige shirt to my white trousers rather than the usual pale blue, although I would prefer to have beige trousers white shirt. Mmmm !

i think the saturation/chroma of color is very important. i identify as a "desaturated olive" ... which makes it especially difficult to find a red lip that doesn't clash

Hi, can i buy your color palette thingy? Its just that i had my professional color analisis last year and the girl sent me a color wheel for cool summer but i had to print it myself and the colors are a bit weird looking, not as vivid as they should be. So do you sell it? Or where did you bought it? Thanks. Hugs from Chile:)

I was going to say that proportion likely matters more than matching lines because it could lead to dynamic layering, but it seems like you mentioned something similar 😊 I like your channel even if our style is not exactly the same, I appreciate the thought process behind the choices. Not sure how I feel about rules for what colours to wear, but I guess the overriding principle is wear what you like (that could include what matches your complexion, but I imagine there are ways to style what shouldn't match, if you don't have a video on this, feel free to use it).
@UseLess_dk2 жыл бұрын
Yes I would agree, proportions matter a lot! And you’re absolutely right, I have this talk with clients as well - how to wear colours even though they aren’t in your palette if you go through a colour analysis.. rules are nice to guide us but it’s good to know that there are always exceptions to those as well. And everyone should totally just wear what makes them feel great, always🙏🏻 xx

@@UseLess_dk Something I think you might appreciate is that your video on alternative neutrals inspired my new paint colour for the accent features in our living room (we went with a warm pewter). I was curious about why you think you are terrified of introducing colour into your wardrobe. I have a similar issue, but it concerns introducing what I characterize as feminine colours/styles into mine. I definitely think there is a psychological aspect to fashion/style so I'm always interested to try and understand what motivates certain choices. Hope you're having a wonderful day 😊
