I really love what you said about paring down your make up and hair. I feel like every time try to find a video or something on simple make up or hair they can sometimes use so many products and its not so simple at all! I'm so glad I found your channel. I have been on a journey of buying sustainable and second hand for the past 2 to 3 years. And now I'm also looking to pare down my wardrobe also because I realized this summer when I stayed with my uncle I loved having a simple wardrobe, less than 20 pieces. It was so nice and so easy and it felt like a wait lifted off of my shoulders. So now that I'm back home I want to do that with my entire closet. Although I think summer and winter capsule wardrobes will be different because summer skirts cannot be warn in Michigan winters. I need thick heavy wool skirts. (I dont wear pants)

I loved this video! I don't think it's overstating it to say you and Emma Hill have made style work for me. I have virtually replaced my wardrobe with classic and quality pieces. Some from resale most new. I'm plus sized so it's more difficult to find my size in resale. My makeup is simpler as well, thanks to a better skin care routine. Trends are not really on my radar any longer and I wear what I know works for me. You are a great inspiration!!!

Hi Signe, my acne simply went when I changed to a whole food vegan way of eating, with lots of fruit, veggies, potatoes, sweet potatoes, squashes, mushrooms, grains, legumes (beans, peas and lentils), no sugary stuff or added sugar and no added oils, including olive oil, which is marketed as healthy when it isn't, it is the most fattening food on the planet and people eat way too much, it's pure fat so guess where it's going to go?! (oily skin and fat around your belly and organs). Try eating this way for a couple of weeks and see how the skin goes, a good place to start is pcrm or Chef AJ's YT channels.

It will be great to see the video with someone that you are help with wardrobe ( as you said in one video that you love work with people and give them advice about fashion etc) like declutter the closet and create minimal wardrobe. Talking of recognising good quality........I was in a charity shop in the Cotswolds recently, and came across a generic seeming navy blazer-style coat, oversized, strong shoulders etc. It was £6. I’d been looking for that exact style, but in a different colour. And decided that, for £6, it was worth getting regardless. Anyway. It was a DAKS coat, and would have retailed at around £500!

I am a mom from a child from 19 months. I am now surching for a simple easy style. i am getting there with steps. Also my hair needs to be simple. I like my hair to air drye and I style it. It stayes for 3 days. And my daughter has curls. But thank god she has also easy hair. I also buy for her basics. I am not more from the prints.
