I can still remember the very first time I saw Maestro Joseph Ko. I went to my uncle's flat (One of the 8 Man's Building) at 4:22 at Ferry Street in around 1968.Both of them were muscians.

4:22 Brings back lots and lots of childhood memory for me. I remember after some businesses at the low rise old buildings opposite the eight Man's Building closed after 11:00 pm , some guys brought out their folding beds and sleep outside the store !

炎夏,好多人開帆布床在屋外睡覺,風扇是高檔貨不普及,那時我地細路當平常事,治安都OK

百份百是文明里,在右邊那三層唐樓(南新洋服)到今天未拆卸,當然南新洋服已不存在。

It’s convincing if the building on the right later re-built as Chung Nam Bank, and if that Wine shop was on Portland Street where some Coffin stores were located. Also the short cut for limited buses as by-pass. And the tall building that still exists is’ Tsin Mong’ building, (English name should be ….View building)right next to Nam Sun Tailor, off Nathan Rd. and there’s a tiny takeaway coffee and tea at ground floor, called ‘ Sai Lo(child) Kee.
