Glad I found this video… Inam stuck between the 75u8n and the 75xr90l… the Hisense is scaring me away due to it being an ads panel. I have a big bright family room, tv would only be used for movies and shows (streaming) something the Sony does do better than u8n… but that ads panel native contrast scars me for night time viewing… but the Sony has me a bit nervous with reflections with the day time…

Sony's processor is hard to beat. How is the blooming? I realize anything other than oled will have some. I have a 2 year old LG mini led that I have configured so that I have very little. I'm just not that hung up over blooming as long as it's very little. Just curious what you thought about this one. Thanks.

I have no complaints, Sony did a great job. I continue to be impressed with how good low quality content looks. If you were to have subtitles on you can see a bit of blooming but it's not enough to distract. It also helps this thing is 85 inches, size helps in that case I think.

My Sony x90E model (2016) just broke by a wii controller :( and I like Sony tv's and looked at the Bravia X90L (2023), the Bravia X95L (2023) and the Bravia 7 (2024). My first choice was the X95L but it's already sold out everywhere. The X90L (full array screen) isn't a miniled screen were as the X95L and the Bravia 7 both are miniled tv's. The good news is that these tv's aren't using edge light with a lot of blooming problems but the X90L has the least dimming zones (about 80). My X90E model had just 24 dimming zones and to be honnest when you look a bit offset at the screen it wasn't great so more dimming zones was on my wishlist. the Bravia 7 has about 6-8 times (480 for the 65" model) as many dimming zones. So much less blooming/light creep. On all other points the X90L and the 7 serie are very close but the better contrast quality of the screen made me choose the Bravia 7 above the X90L. I must say I don't have a 85" screen. But I got a good deal for my 65" about the same price as the X90L model.

There is a bit of blooming but you have to look for it. I'd say it's above average to high end, there's a detailed link in the description of the video that has samples if you want to see those. @HouseDadLifeАй бұрын
Although the screen is viewable, and I don't think the picture quality diminishes, for me having the 85" model, anything more than 15 or 20 degrees off either end really messes with how everything looks. Not because of the TV but because the perspective of everything else changes but the picture perspective does not. I could see it just fine, but I wouldn't enjoy it in that case. I'd strongly urge you to find the model you're looking at in the size you're looking at and see for yourself. Make the decision based on what you see, you're the one buying it after all.

Very nice review of the Sony X 90 L I was also looking at a larger TV. We was looking at the 98 inch between the Sony and LG. The Samsung just suck to me. You did a good job with your research on which TV is good for you and I commend you for that great job because some people don’t do any research. They just jump on the first TV especially if the price cheap doing my research, my main focus was the best picture quality performing TV in the market for 2024. I was going back-and-forth with Sony and LG LG has a 98 inch 89T. and Sony has the X 90 L 98 inch TV. after my close analysis and research, I found that LG provide the best picture quality in the 98 inch in the market this year. Sony‘s picture quality was a little dimmer and off angle. The picture quality fades a little bit more than I liked. I didn’t see any advantages that Sony had over LG plus the Sony price was much higher than LG so we went with LG because the picture is just stunning this year on this TV the performance the settings was very nice and the price was very reasonable. 98 inch is no joke. If you can go big go bigger you won’t regret it. Best Buy delivery this big sucker on Friday and Saturday and Sunday we spent those two days trying to set everything up. Had to call a friend over to help place it on a new low profile and entertainment stand. We had to change the front room around but my wife loves it. Sony TVs are the best 👌

Why can't they make these TVs with an anti-glare finish? Ffs i want to see the show, not my own face

It's getting less than it used to be over the years, when watching I don't notice it, when it's off it's almost a mirror.

Go for Samsung the frame if you want anti-glare tv but quality wise it has more problems like backlight bleeding issues

KZbin TV is best to watch everything on the Sony

KZbin TV, can't say I've even heard of it, I'll have to look.

Despite all those extraordinary features the most important for me is the picture quality, so far disappointed, my 10 year old Samsung has better quality picture which I’m replacing just because of the lack of Dolby Vision/ Atmos , nothing else 😏

I went from a sharp aquos and for me the upgrade was very significant. Every person is entitled to seeing what they want, good luck finding something you enjoy.i know it took me a long time.
