This is, hands down, the cleanest and most well explained tutorial on how to make anime stylized hair i've found on youtube. Also big thanks to whoever translated this to english.

i followed the entire tuto understanding not a single word, and right after finishing i find out it has subs i feel dumb, but at the same time the fact that i could do something following the tuto without explanations shows how good it is
Thank you so much!! The English subs are very appreciated ^-^ you're tutorials are some of the best and easiest to follow out there, much love and keep up the amazing work ❤
best hair tutorial i have seen, thank you for the tutorial and thank you for the english subtitles. even though i've been using blender since 2017, i still learned new things
This is amazing, I love how you explain everything so well I learn so much from one video. Keep it up!! the only thing that was missing was Refrence , to guide which hair should be outside and inside!

The best tutorial about this I've found, great work.
Thank you for explaining the "Path Conversion"! Every anime hair tutorial I've watched so far don't teach that, which makes the hair very tricky to edit

thank you so much !! but can i please ask you to do at least one tutorial on a male body or a male character? i searched everywhere but i can't find any good tutorial or at least as good as your tutorials, it would really help so much if i had some idea on male anatomy . Your tutorials really helped me improve a lot, i would really love it if you also did a simple tutorial on male character just like you did with this female character
@Ruby-kl1bf Жыл бұрын
Search up ‘male anatomy reference’ and you will find a lot of reference images for the male body. Looking up ‘male anatomy turnaround’ will also show front, side and back view. You could follow along a a tutorial and just adjust the proportions to what you need.

A closed taped prism deformed along a spline shape. We tried this modeling style a character, but when I overuse this modeling style, it felt weird in Blender 3D without painting shadows and highlights onto base color maps of the hair strands.

When I unwrapped the hair all the back sides of the hair in the uv editor are separated from each other and not like one whole part like in the video 40:17 god Im gonna have a headache edit: OKAY I FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM!!!!! the problem was that I was on vertex selection when I was marking the seam and sharps. You have to be in edge selection mode to mark the seams and sharps
I'm someone who wants to make a video game in an anime style, and you are one of the best KZbin tutorial channels out there for learning how to model anime characters!

Thank you very much , Mr.Summer. Very good tutorial and I 've been benefited a lot. BTW, could you tell me the name of the bgm you use in the video? I really love the melody and was wondering the name of the bgm. Could you tell me?
That is Proportional editing. You can find it in the options that are above the viewport 😸

im just wondering is the creasing edges important? i found it pretty difficult to try reshaping the mesh after it gets all messed up from that part, so im wondering if its skippable?
Hii, I have an issue with turning the curve into mesh. When I turn it into mesh and checked in the editing tab, It has a lot of vertices. I deleted the Subdivision Surface Modifier as well. I don't really know what's going on.
