Hi Kate - enjoying your videos as usual. Often see you struggling (as many of us do) to get your GS off the side stand. Here's a wee trick. Turn your handlebar all the way to the right (wheel facing right) and you won't believe how easier it becomes. Keep up the good work Kate.

A Thurso biker here, nice cute looking castle to the right is the Lodge, gate house to the ruin of Thurso Castle, which was severely weakened by a marine mine coming ashore during WW2 and dismantled around 1952

Hi Kate, on reflection, me saying your bikes looked pristine, was a bit overboard, but it did earn me a mention, thank you!! and I might try this more often! I was really enjoying your commentary and the scenery when you pulled in for fuel. The next moment, tragedy struck, you realized your GoPro was off!! I feel like crying for you Kate! It's now that Mike pulls you over, I thought to consider going back as he was checking your remaining recording time, but you carried on. I'm loving these beautiful winding roads, and lovey scenic views. Now 1,000 miles in and hit dense fog, a real pea-souper! On Route to the Cairngorms, Mikes going at a fair pace on the long and winding road. Finally arrived at the Glenavon for a meal and a well earned rest. Me, I'm just going to have a cuppa! that was a really enjoyable ride!💑

Hooray! It's about friggin time we got to see another episode of the Scotland adventure. It's amazing what you can do now that you have finished with gainful employment. Seriously, as usual another entertaining vlog and, as the guy said in the bond film 'Welcome to Scotland'! The weather does everything! I've stayed in the hotel at Dunnet, where Mike and yourself had a meal and, I filled up at the same petrol station in Thurso. Keep up the good work and, enjoy your new career. 👍

Lovely video as usual. These camera batteries do make it tough on getting everything you want. I stuck a power bank on to my sena 10c evo to try to take the worry out of missing something. Not 100% perfect though. I felt your pain. Loving your channel 👍😀👍

@@UsernameKate on my Sena the cable connection stopped it being waterproof. Not ideal here in Snowdonia 😂😂 plus in the cold on Tuesday I still needed to turn off the camera after a few hours as the battery still went low. 20 mins later it was OK though. 🤔

It's the comfiest bike I've ever ridden, not the easiest to move about but but hand guards, heated grips, big screen, built in sat nav and cruise control make the trips so pleasant

Filming tip ; it’s not good to watch through a motorcycle screen , so if you want good viewer experience Kate, you must reduce the screen height , or sit taller , as you often do , or mount the camera higher . Just trying to be helpful .

She I think she is using a chin mount due to the gs screen being quite high I think she should try a top of head mount

Unfortunately we can only work with what we have at the moment and a mount on the top would cause to much drag for her neck, she's only tiny 😀 the screen was on the lowest setting as she doesn't like looking through them, maybe wee need to try some drift cameras out then it can be put up top

Powerbank is a great idea, only problem is if you get caught in some light rain you would have to stop as it will make it not water resistant

@@mikepye86 blue tack Mike. Just put it around the connectors (just small sausages pushed around them to keep the water out) works just fine and saves such a lot of battery stops, especially when it’s raining. 👍

Although, Richy Vida told me he doesn’t bother with it around the camera points either, which seems a bit risky to me. Just make sure you do a good gob sealing it off and you’ll be grand. 👍
