One use for cr.HP that should also be noted is as a counter poke, or slow frame trap/shimmy type move. On counterhit it can link into DP for a pretty decent chunk of damage.

You guys ever try Angry Scar, wait for a jump in, do high step kick, combo into EX-Angry Scar powered Tiger Uppercut, then do ultra 1. It does like almost 600 damage. Not to mention it is laughably easy again Zangief, Rufus, Thawk, Hugo, Chunli, you know, the slow jumpers or the big hurt box crew. I've actually landed it in online matches so it is viable. But even without the ultra, that's 80 damage, plus 250 from the EX-Tiger Uppercut (Angry Scar dependent), that's more than some characters can even just put out with an FADC combo lol.

I don't know if others will agree, but it'd be great if he had a diifferent voice actor in SF5. His voice, both japanese and english, just doesn't go with his appearance imo.

Copperhell144 I agree. His english voice sounds like a stereotypical "Scary black man" voice, and his japanese voice is not great at the best of times.

+Copperhell144 It actually fits very well when it comes to pitch. Larger chested people are more likely to have lower voices. Sagat has a pretty large abdomen so it makes sense to have a deeper voice than what he had in ST.

47:47 I'm very sure you can get the uppercut part of HK super from midscreen if its a reversal, you lose hits if its farther away but its still really high damage

+Focusedfelix JP = Juggle Points. JP0 means a free juggle state, literally anything will juggle, it does not have to have JP. A JP1 scenario means you need a special move with at least 1 juggle point, JP1, in order to juggle. After landing a f+HK on an airborne opponent, it's JP1, so you need a move with at least JP1 to juggle. Sagat's only JP1 moves are EX fireball (JP2), angry scar uppercut (JP1), Super, U1, and U2 (all of them have tons of JP)

+Bafael Regular Tiger Knee has JP1, also F+HK can juggle into itself, I think it's JP2 going off the system.

Fred Hamcheese basically it cancels the animation of a move but takes it’s momentum. So you take a step forward and grab for kara throws or same for kara FADCs.
