I have one on the way. I'm going to drop it off at the tailor & have him sew on a couple of PALS strips on each side so I can attach my sustainment pouches. One holds my Thermarest/Cascade "semi inflatable" sleeping pad perfectly, folded in half lengthwise and rolled. I'll probably get an ACU waist/butt pack for underneath (since it was designed for it) and carry my poncho liner or lite wool blanket. Very informative video.

How much does it weight empty ?

Can you put an Israeli sleeping bag from the 70s inside? In my country's army we have them as a supply and they wouldn't let us place all the other elements that we had to carry (unless they burst first). What sleeping bag model do you use?

we don't happen to have one of those on hand so can't test that I'm afraid. However these would take the USGI patrol sleeping bag just fine with a bit of room to spare in the main compartment. The one in the video is just woobie (poncho liner)-I had this very loosely packed

Was debating including those in this video but decided it might make a good separate video (I too, like those a little more for all that extra MOLLE especially on the top panel). We get those from time to time as well

USMC FILBE Assault Pack is missing the backside sleeve compartment which is a huge minus. I like to carry my bundeswehr foldable sleeping mat and ground sheet in there. They also make the pack more comfortable and firm. FILBE has more organization capability on the inside tho.
