So for a closed club face, the opposite set up would be preferred? I have a tendency for my 9i and wedges to go right ( lefty) of the pin.
@USGOLFTVshow2 жыл бұрын
Yes, for the most part that is true. Good question....

Todd, do you ever discuss the “knock down shot”? I have a problem with a shank every time I try to knock down a 60-70 yard shot. Thank you, Mike

Yes we do. Check out our channel for wind shots.

Hi Todd, great video. So I have fixed (mostly!) my slicing. However, at least 1 to 3 times a round. I'll hit a block to the right. A very nice - very long shot straight as an arrow to the right. It is maddening to say the least!!! What am I doing or mainly not doing correctly? Please help with this.

@@USGOLFTVshow thank you For some reason I don't do it with the irons. I do it with my driver. I just can't really hit my 3w consistently. I don't do it with my 4h either. I look more in your library. Thanks again

If club face is open at impact I noticed i hit a nice fade, but im hitting everything short. WAY short. Losing 20-30 yards. Is that typical…
@USGOLFTVshow Жыл бұрын
Yes, when you open the face it adds loft and you will loose distance.

My frustration with my swing is that I start the round hitting a draw, but toward the end, I'm pushing the ball with all my clubs including my wedges.

My iron clubface is closed at address about 20° at least. It looks stupid, sounds stupid, people question it, but it's the only way I can hit the ball straight.
@USGOLFTVshow Жыл бұрын
Nothing stupid about shots that fly straight my friend. Play YOUR game....

@US GOLF TV OH for sure! Haha. I just wish there was a way I can fix it. I've tried multiple things but as soon as I get on the course, crazy push slices all day with my irons. Then I always go back to turning my face back in.

@@shmirginhymer1867I’d be willing to bet you have a weak grip.
@shmirginhymer1867 Жыл бұрын
@bloatedsodium7301 Very strong grip actually. I have since remedied my issue. I would open up drastically in my take away, and get stuck on the down swing. I keep my face more closed now In my take away and have been hitting straight shots with a normal grip and stance.
