Secede-ing generations stopped growing up on *old-time* gospel/blues and traditional choral singing where singing stylistically from the soul was necessary for any kind of success. Somethings don't need to be SAID,there's a whole chapter in the bible about taming the tongue.I remember when I was in the navy,I was walking and talking to one of my bosses,he was an E-5 and I was an E-3 and he told me he thought this other sailor in our division was better than me.I was instantly pissed then defended myself and let him know other petty officers I thought were better than him. After that when he would give me assignments to do I'd half-ass it or take a long time to complete it.I served in the military 20 yrs and never ever told another service member I thought someone else was better than him or her.The best leadership I did was listen and be quiet.BE mindful of your WORDS and how you say them.

I'm going to "honestly" say that what T-Pain did for music is nudged everyone to "step it up" in multiple ways as it pertains creating a new sound, allowing for anyone to trailblaze to the next level with it. But instead, folks looked at T-Pain's sound as "the new wave to ride" and then exhausted the pleasance of it because the music game and talent scene became too'OO oVerLy-SaTuraTeD with it by choice. But the problem with today's music industry and talent scene is that EVERYONE KEEPS choosing to SOUND THE SAME BECAUSE NOONE'S TRYING TO ESTABLISH THEIR OWN IDENTITY in this thing. So unfortunately, we have folks continuing to either sound like what T-Pain was doing or an overly remanufactured LiL-Wayne or Drake because the idea of stapling one's uniqueness of originality is not in the bundle of seasoning of what the music game desperately needs or should taste like. So sadly, anyone whose blind to this would say what Usher said. No shade to Usher. His honesty is great but I cannot agree with his statement towards T-Pain because anyone whose been watching and listening with no distractions knows that T-Pain is one of the best things that could have ever happened to Da' GaMe!!! Fa'ReAAL!!! I have a lot to say concerning this because who really "F'd up Da' Game" was this new school of so-called exec's and managers who's more concerned with dolla'Z, checks, chart-numBa'Z, credits & placements rather than making sure that the sector of "ARTIST DEVELOPMENT" remains a crucial factor of priority within the system and process of what it takes for an artist to have a CAREER-HEALTHY SHOT at delivering "REAL🔥ART" to the listeners, viewers and overall masses and not tossing "niCK-NacK-PaTTy-WaK'" of mixtures of mumble-rap-flow and calling it REAL HIP-HOP when really all it was doing was totally disrespecting while unhealthfully challenging the talent and foundational standards of what Real Rap is (or sadly, w((A))s. Infact, if anything, T-Pain saved the game by being the Roger Troutman (Computer Love) that today's music industry and talent scene still needs Soo badly. All that being said, I still say proudly T-PaiN is still a key element in his own earned right, that the game needed then and still needs now. Plus let's not forget that T-Pain can actually sing tremendously without Autotune which is why this is one of the primary reasons his use of autotune was and still is and will forever be "Da'BesT of'Em aLL.
