So great to see Andy and Donal still playing next to each other on stage, all these many years after they set out. I call that a worthwhile career!

I'm in Canada and I love this music. I'm of Irish-Scottish heritage so this may be the reason why. My grandad and his mates use to play all this kind of music at my grandparents home every second Saturday. My grandad played the banjo and trying not to be biased, he was brilliant at it. I was a young lad at the time so I was quite intrigued by this wonderful music. My dad played the acoustic guitar and would join in every so often. To this day I don't know why I didn't pick up an instrument and learn to play. I'm 66 now, retired , so I think I should. What do you all think? LOL.

Absolute Enormous Love for what you have done, and are still doing, musically for my kind! Almost blind but not yet deaf, I am. I hope to hear lots of you in "future"! Huub/Hubert Roncken/Ronkainen (63 years young). And I miss Liam enormously! All the best to you all !!!!!!!!! And SOOO many, many thanks for such a vast beautiful music (probably I will myself sing Skibbereen in a super pub in a short while, but that was never a song of Planxty or you lot, I think? No matter what; I really love Gaelic music. "Even" mixed with Balkan music, Andy. :) THANKS SO MUCH, AND ALL (!!!) THE BEST WISHEs!

Classic songs and tunes. Considering the number of double-strung mandolas and zouks being played its amazing there werent more tuning problems or string breaking!

Donal- I propose that you add a big Marshall Stack to stand next to your chair on stage. In front of the stack you should have a pink Flying V, sitting on a stand. Don't play them or even refer to them. Carry on

In both videos the soundman can’t get a proper balance between the fiddle and flute. The fiddle should be louder- Glackin solo puts out a powerful tone , here he is made to sound thin.

It's a great pity that I'm not, that I'm not It's a great pity that I'm not Páidín's wife It's a great pity that I'm not, that I'm not And the woman that he has to be dead I would go to Galway, to Galway And I would go to Galway with Páidín I would go to Galway, to Galway And I would return in the boat with him (Chorus) I would go to an Clochán And west by Béal Á' na Báighe I would look in through the windows I would spot Páidín's wife (Chorus) May your legs be broken, be broken May your legs be broken, Páidín's wife May your legs be broken, be broken May your legs and your bones be broken (Chorus) I wore out my shoes, my shoes I wore out my shoes, after Páidín I wore out my shoes, my shoes I wore out the soles and the heels

Not terribly inspiring. Very repetitive. Great musicians but classic boring Irish tunes. Almost diddly diddly music, sad to say.
