Definitely a nice look but I would suggest using some hot glue next time. That way when the batteries go bad, you can either replace the batteries or the entire light much easier since you can pop the plastic off the cured hot glue much easier than any adhesive.

My thought exactly!

If I'm not mistaken, batteries of solar lights last 1-3 years. Given that that candlestick arrangement is just a minor decore piece, people will probably want to replace the whole thing with another decore item before the batteries will need to be replaced. Donating? Tossing? I'm not sure what do home decor bloggers do with all those pieces they demonstrate in their videos. 😚

@@Norkku-Mick correct but I use a lot of dollar tree lights and in my experience they last around 6 months and if you replace the batteries with Amazon cells, they last around 2-3 years. However, I don’t like to throw working stuff away if I can make it work again easily after batteries die (or similar minor issue like a bad switch or failed solder joint on a panel), even if it was cheap. I’m an electronics hobbyist of sorts and I try to consider how much e-waste I create and reduce it as much as possible. I have a tote full of different solar LED parts that I use to repair other things or up-cycle into bigger projects. I would hope people like this creator don’t throw out every light they use when the batteries die but I know most people usually do since repairing things like that is not something most people care about anymore.

I bought five of those solar lights and only one worked. Check before gluing.

Is it necessary to permanently attach them to the candle holder with E6000? It looks like they fit nicely. What will you do when they inevitably stop working like all DT solar lights tend to do? If they don’t fit securely on top of the candle holderwhy not use something a little less permanent? I’m genuinely curious. 🤔

I need the location of your dollar tree, lol. I have gone to 4 around where I live, and none of them have any of these lights. I specifically went looking for the pumpkin candle holders and none of the stores had those either. 😊
