Using a MIDI Controller with iPad

thanks for the info. i have several apps and use Nektar Impact LX49 as a controller. Apps all have MIDI learn, but I dont know how to save the MIDI Learn settings in any of them. When you leave the app (or use a different instrument within the same app) none of rhe MIDI learn parameters are saved. do you know how to do this?

in ipad, can u assign several instruments into faders as volume control? like: piano on fader1; strings on fader2; epiano on fader3; organ on fader4, etc.. and can i mix and play the 4 instruments simultaneously? which app can do that?

You can do that in garage band but can be done only post recording.
