Did my first couple house wash jobs with a similar contraption but it was on a 4 wheel cart and a 15 gal tank. 1 gpm and a 15' hose. It took a long time and had to mix a couple batches for each house but it made me enough to make my current soft wash rig. 💪

Nice! Thats the real grind. I started off doing paver sealing with a handheld pump up sprayer. We all gotta start somewhere!

Wow Cliff they came up lovely, that sprayer is so much faster, snazzy the way it just sits on the sealant tub. Great work 👏

Yes the customer loved it. I think the contrast from the pavers to the coping makes it pop! Oh yea that sprayer definitely made it faster too!

Nice work buddy, I have a similar setup for my paver sealing jobs, i have a 50' 3/8 air hose, a 1.1GPM pump from northern tool and i bought a battery adapter from Amazon to use a dewalt battery with a on and off switch. Works amazing. Then once I'm done with the job i run Fabuloso through everything to clean it out. Works great. Game changer for sure.

Great job brother! Quick question.. Can you do a video on paver seal pricing? I recently saw your video on roof pricing and it’s hands down the best video on KZbin.. thank you for all you do!
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Жыл бұрын
Thanks LOL. I can try, I mean its pretty easy since theres no pitch to worry about. Just length x width to get square footage x whatever your price per sq ft is. I could hook something up though.

I made my own a few weeks ago. I used a dewalt(thats my tool brand with multiple batteries)20v step down to 12v. You can source everything off amazon...... I broke the craftsman after 3 jobs(my own fault. I was in a hurry and didnt rinse well) so i fugured if that happened again i just have to replace a $40 pump lol. The lid does work great plus not having to refill the back pack is a plus.
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Жыл бұрын
I was gonna make one 2 years ago but man I just been on the go LOL. I had the stuff in my cart forever and just never ordered it. Yea i definitely love it cause theres no refill and also less risk for a mess.
@GorillaSoftwash Жыл бұрын
@Pink Flamingo Power Wash LLC simple to make. Using a step down saves the pump from the 20v batteries so the wiring is the tedious part because your going from pump to the step down to the battery holder. It's a game changer for sure though.
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Жыл бұрын
@SEAN RYDER definitely easy to make. I made a 12v cart before remember? kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKjUm3mVo6aDjrM
@GorillaSoftwash Жыл бұрын
@Pink Flamingo Power Wash LLC yea, that's right. I do remember seeing that or something similar right before you started using the craftsman. I found your channel right about that time. The growth in your knowledge and process from then till now is cool to watch. Like if you were going to coach yourself what you would have told yourself to do differently. Makes me think back years ago to having a 2.5 gpm with just a water hose and no chem in the back of a jeep Cherokee to building out and plumbing my own trailers, lol.

Thanks, I filled the bucket up with clean water and I added a splash of LA's totally awesome and locked the trigger to it flushes the pump and hose out by itself.

@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Жыл бұрын
Yea man I love it. Definitely makes the job faster. No need to refill the backpack, less mess, and better spray pattern. I only used 1 battery and it was still full of power. Actually that battery was charged maybe 1 week ago.

Good stuff my man, have a question on that pump. I'm curious how far will that shoot if you put a shooter tip on the wand ! I'm asking cause I do multi story apartment complexes and I've had several with their AC units in closets on their balconies. The AC causes rust runs down the building walls. I'm curious in distance because I'd like to use this setup for oxalic to pretreat the rust. I could use my current Softwash pump but I'd rather have an independent unit so I can run both at the same time. Your feedback on this would be much appreciated.
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash23 күн бұрын
I've used it with a 0020 nozzle and it hits 2 stories with no problem 😃

Awesome job Cliff. I noticed you changed shoes on that second coat. I seen some shoes with spikes that painters use when they are painting concrete surfaces and floors so they can actually walk thru the paint without leaving foot prints. I wonder if they can be used if the sealant is still too tacky on the pavers
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Жыл бұрын
Didnt know about those. But Yea i dont like tracking dirt onto the pavers sometimes i keep a bucket of clean water near the door so i can wipe my boots off before entering.

How much you usually charge for a square foot?im trying to start doing sealing but not sure how much I should charge.really don’t want to overcharge my future customer,please advise. Thank you
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash11 ай бұрын
The pricing differs a lot by market as well as business to business because the material costs, cost of living, and expenses are different. I've seen prices low as $1 and high as $3 a sq ft , so you'd have to find your range for the area you live in.

I noticed it has a pattern that disperses more to the outside of the circle I been a painter for over 30 years so ima give you my 2 cents spray making small a circular motion where possible should give you more even coverage than back and forth or left to right
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash Жыл бұрын
Depends on the tips I use. I do the circular spray sometimes. but even then the cone is pretty nice vs the wide van. this one was the cone tip.
