Gonna share something with you bud. My wife and I met in the seventh grade. We were "going together" by that summer. We were married three weeks out of high school and have had not more than a few arguments in all those years. We'll celebrate our 44th anniversary this year. I've NEVER done anything significant when she wasn't standing next to me. Vehicle repairs, building projects, farm projects (she can build fence as well as anyone I know of). She can stich up a horse, a dog or me if necessary. She can pull a tooth where I'd pass smooth out. Her and I have been covered in $*** with septic tank issues and she never complained. She's gorgeous inside and out. Your Rebekah reminds me so much of my wife. Love and cherish her everyday. Your praise means more to her than you (we) can imagine. Btw, you guy's are doing a great job!

If you plan on putting insulation in the attic you should have put plastic up to stop any condensation from forming and dripping on the ceiling

Agree with this. In addition, unless you plan on spray foam insulation above the ceiling panels, your heated air is going to leak up through the ceiling through all the cracks between the sheets. A polyethylene sheet barrier would prevent this from happening.

Why is this channel so good? Well; it delivers on so many fronts. It follows a couple who are hard working and have an objective in life. They strive to show us that journey in an honest and simple way, without bull**** and with humility. They do not revert to becoming a commercially driven "selling" channel. They show us all as it is, failures and successes. Sure there are times when I think they are doing something wrong because I know better through experience but heck there are many times I have got it wrong as well. It is called the real world and Evan and Rebekah show that aw well. This is a nice informative channel delivered by a nice honest couple. Shame more channels don't do the same.

Happy Birthday Evan. Lucky to have Rebekah with you for all that you want done. I suggest you spend the money to use plywood for the bottom 8' of wall in the workshop and maybe the garage too. Sheetrock the rest of the way up will work. You will end up wanting to hang things up and plywood is a better medium for that even if you screw into the studs the wood will be less likely to suffer a hole. Is there a pole type crane in your future plans? Really great for a 1 ton hoist used to split a tractor for clutch work etc. and for lifting large projects that need to be turned over to weld on. Looking forward to your next bit of work getting set up the way you want it. Keep warm and dry, jack

Evan, since you weld, you could actually make a top rail for your scaffold that fits over the pins. It wouldn't be for standing on, but it would be a project that you could do in short order that you could actually feel good about, knowing it could save the life of you or your wife.

Greetings from Colorado. Nice job. When we were your age we had a small farm in Oklahoma. My wife and I both had fulltime jobs that included about one hour of driving time each way every workday. So we would leave home early, get home from work and then work until dark on the farm. Supper time in the summer was always about nine o'clock in the evening. Fortunately my wife was like yours and she usually was willing to help me. We built many structures on the farm. Watching you guys brings back many memories. They make a saw blade for your skill saw that will cut that steel very nicely. In fact you can cut a couple at a time to speed up the process. Just a thought for the other half of the shop.
