Looking forward to see it all done. Remember, you only have to do this once, then you have a nice workshop for decades to come. So it is worth investing the time and effort to make it look how you want it!

The T-111 stained looks good. Years ago I used to be able to toss sheets of T-111 up and nail but not now. Nice job.

The workshop is coming along nicely. Thank you for using the Minwax stain as I am a rep for Minwax stains. If I could recommend using a finish coat over the stain as it will give the surface a much more durable finish. Also smoother to dust down the debris that will settle on the walls from dust, dirt, sawdust, etc. There are water born Polyurethanes that has a dull finish, that you won’t even notice a sheen. It is an added step and cost, however it will keep the surface clean in the long run, also the Polycrylic doesn’t have a odor when applying it like the stain did. Also much safer with open flame in the room. Thanks again for the Minwax plug, and keep up the good work.

Don’t lose the projects and change your channel. This is why I’m here. As channels become too monetized, the content becomes contrived and less valuable. Thanks

I encourage you to apply a single coat of non-gloss urethane before the nicely-stained walls begin to catch flying dust (plain dust and fugitive sawdust) because that will allow them to resist the dust layer and make what does land easier to vacuum or dust rag off.

I learned a few things. Thanks for the great tricks and tips. I have never really worked with wood that much. Look forward to seeing it completed. Really like the stain Idea. The only time we ever stained was to keep the mules from eating the walls and we used motor oil lol. Hopefully that counts.

You have several options for the air compressor. Move it out of the wood shop area. Put the compressor on the north side of the big door in the unfinished area. Soundproof around it.

Nice building! Would be great to have that much workspace. One word of caution...when using an air or power nailer, be careful where you place your hands when supporting a piece of wood. I ended up in the hospital when one of my nails shot straight through the board where a knot was, and shot right through my finger. That finger told me the weather for years!😂 Have a Blessed Day!
