Orrrrrr, how about using it (the bar) as it’s designed to be used. It’s a lot less work and safer. Lay the tool across the tire with the “tip” between the tire and the rim, strike hard with 2+lb hammer to seat tip and then lift handle. Tapping lightly while lifting may help hold tip in place. Boom, done. Usually doesn’t take more than two points of contact to unseat.

I tried this bar with a hammer did not work!! Did it with the ratchet strap worked like a freaking charm!!!!!

I sprayed the bead with WD-40 then drove a car on the tire and parked it for a minute or two ; don't drive on the rim though . Also , someone once told me to use a 2×4 but didn't use one , guess I'll do that in the future if WD-40/or soap and driving on it doesn't work . Another idea I had was to vacuum the tire with a refrigerant pump but don't own one of those ; maybe in the future . The problem I'm having now is I tried to use a big tire tool and that tire tool got stuck so I ended up having to cut the tire off . I guess , maybe , Michelins are tight fitting so it makes them harder to take off ?

Walmart. Thanks but add Step one remove the valve core. The tool is included if you get a kit they're like 6 bucks at walmart.

Try 2 - 2x4's or a 2x4 and a 4x4, lie the tire on the ground next to the car, slide one end of 10' 2x4 under the car, put a short piece of 4x4/2x4 on the bead, the long 2x4 on top, the push down, or just put a 2x8 along side of the bead and drive over the 2x8 only

That tool with a hammer did not work for me! This ratchet strap method worked a whole hell of a lot better the pounding the bar and bouncing the rim off the ground!!
