I actually learned how to type on a rubber keyed Speccy - although I had to adapt a little when I moved onto the Amiga A1200, but it wasn't problematic. Gotta say I HATE modern keyboards when the keys are down so low - the type you usually get on a laptop. HATE THEM!!!!

Cheers for the video, never heard of Winter Wonderland but will give it ago, my favourite adventure games was Bugsy, completed it Circ.1986 and due to be completed again this Xmas when I finally get my hands on the new Speccy (that and Espionage Island +other adventure 16k games). Regarding keyboards / sticks. Keyboards first, I have a cheapo mechanical wired keyboard which I intent to use. For sticks, personally I cannot get on with the C64 mini/maxi stick, so will be trying the Gamester arcade 360 stick, a Hori stick, 360 controller, my elcheapo fight /hitbox (ASDW design) and an elcheapo mini hitbox again with the ASDW design. Orignally when playing the speccy I was more of a QAOP person so will need to get used to the hit box design. Final note for adventure games anyone know if the original Quill adventure writing software works OK on the new speccy? Cheers

I use an external keyboard on mine. One of the 'f' keys works as a 'home' button on mine. I can't remember which one off hand.

In my opinion space bar in The Spectrum will suffer a lot of wear after using it because of ita shape. Compared with an original ZX Spectrum, space bar button in The Spectrum is too weak. What do you think?

Good to know, although I assumed it would take another keyboard. But, can you use two keyboards simultaneously for two player games. Now I could test tgat for myself but I'm lazy, so get on that would you 😉🤣
