Sorry I’ve been gone for so long. To be honest with everyone, I had another major loss in my immediate family this year. I’ve been in therapy and deeply mourning since the middle of the year. I’ve never been with someone while they were passing away and it affected me to an inconceivable level. On top of that, this year I was already taking it slow but losing someone was the final blow…but Finally after months I’m getting back into the groove and I’m emotionally ready to put my all into creating video’s again. This video I am so proud of. I put my all into it and I hope you all enjoy!!! Let’s all end this last part of the year out with a bang!! 🎉

I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm glad you got to be with them before they passed. I keep wishing one of my sisters will step up and spend some time with me while I go through chemo and battle my demons, but I go alone every time. I think most regular people don't have it in them to watch another not do so great. Stay strong and take care of yourself. We'll be here.

We're exhausted just watching, but wow! We had flashbacks of coloring when we were little, pushing the very limits of wax crayons to make what we were sure was going to be the greatest work of art ever created! Amazing depth of color considering wax crayons load up the paper surface rather quickly. Huge respect for the level of difficulty, and extra points for not cheating using solvents or anything to modify the natural working properties. Beautiful!

My last box of crayola was bought for my now 21 year old grandson and was also loved by his younger siblings. Now I am just awaiting for my 1 and 2 year old grandsons to come and make use of them!! I never imagined there could be so many different crayola crayons! You certainly provided some valuable insight into them. Your drawing is absolutely awesome!!!! Love it! Thank you for doing the challenge, and now I am off to your next video!!

I am now resisting the urge to buy a 240 pack of crayons. Also, as a math teacher thank you for showing me that dry-erase crayons exist. That will help a LOT with younger children.
@Chalupabatmanx2 жыл бұрын
Also a math teacher here! The dry erase crayons are great but they need a lot of pressure and can be difficult to erase. I use water and a microfiber cloth to prevent scuffing the dry erase board.

The confetti style crayons are one of my *favorite* because they crate a really cool layer and had a lot of different color combos. I should mention that I taught art to elementary school kids and showed them how to layer and scratch colors to make new colors and textures. You didn't feature what those new crayons-but-not-crayons were, though, like describing how they were actually different.... another video maybe? The final result was awesome :D

I have to agree with you on the confetti crayons they are so hard to use.❤😂😊
So glad I caught a recent short because, as usual, the algorithm punished a creature for not uploading 4 times a day. As someone whose mom taught for 35 years, I'm sure the crayons you donated were highly appreciated; budgets for schools (especially art programs) are woefully under funded, so that big influx of materials definitely saved the art teacher a decent chunk of personal change. You love to see responsible consumerism. The piece itself is so interesting to me because of how much the face pops and feels detailed and more realistic while the rest is a little less crisp, a little more flowy. And yet it's actually the lack of strokes that makes it feel that way! Such an interesting effect, I really like it! Sending you lots of love in this difficult time for you; I hope the people around you are able to bring you comfort through the holiday season. The first one is always the hardest. We have two thanksgivings (one day of for our extended family and one Saturday with my siblings & their families) and I know the one without my sister is going to be really fucking hard. Every time we've gotten together, I keep expecting her to be there.
