USING BEGINNER FISHING METHODS TO CATCH FISH NONSTOP!

Hey Skipper

Hey Skipper

Күн бұрын

Get ready for a legendary day of fishing in the beautiful Potomac River in Washington D.C. This is spring fishing at its finest. In this episode, we will be using one of the easiest fishing methods to catch BIG FISH by live lining some live bait. Lots of Rockfish and ENORMOUS catfish like to gobble up snack-sized perch. So first, we are going to catch some white perch to use as live bait, and then we are going to live line that out to see what we can catch!
This week, I am renting a boat to go fishing with Erin and my dad. This fishing spot is very special to me as I have been fishing here for over 15 years and this is really where I learned to fish with my dad. I love being about to bring him and Erin out on the water for a special, fish-filled day. And you won’t believe how many fish we catch!

@@HeySkipper thanks for the response. Love your videos. I've learned a lot from you. If you could give me some advice I'd greatly appreciate it. I have a 7'6 Medium heavy fast inshore Toadfish rod. I don't have a boat so I'll only be fishing from banks/piers/docks. I'll be predominantly using it for saltwater. What type of reel would you recommend? My budget is roughly $90. Thanks again and have a great weekend

Wow, I thought we invented that. I never had money for "bait" growing up, so we would use muscles that grew on the pier to catch small fish, then used them as bait for bigger fish. I even caught a few Sand Sharks that way.

Bait will be home salted squid, bream and fishbites. I have to get the fishbites on line from the US. Works well for whiting, bream, flathead and dart, etc. Keep up the good work mate. So good to see you using a baitcaster too. Tight lines brother
