i really like that the writer stopped ‘using,’ however still has the mindset that he was a burden, etc etc. still rlly has the mindset of when he was using. thats something you dont hear much about. stopping using seld destructive coping mechanisms stops the self destruction, but not the need to cope, and its nice to hear a song really recognize that.
@SuperAmberAttack4 жыл бұрын
A relapse isn't always using the drugs/alcohol. Your relapse can start with lying, risky behavior, and even unhealthy mindsets! Sometimes even when we're not using drugs/alcohol, we keep our unhealthy mindset, causing a viscous cycle of using a feeling we can't stop. We gotta stop wishing we were dead before we actually begin to heal. What's the point of being sober if you don't even want to wake up in the morning?

I've struggled with persistent depressive disorder for as long as I can remember. I've been very blessed to have received consistent therapeutic and psychiatric treatment since I was a child, but because my symptoms persisted in spite of this, I sincerely considered myself an exception when other people said, "It gets better." After 21 years of symptoms ranging from suicidal to manageable / high-functioning, I can actually say that today I'm in partial remission. It kindly stopped for me. Please believe me when I say it can stop for you too, it gets better. Thank you Sorority Noise.

I went again to the Manchester show yesterday. And really? I skipped puppy and the other supporting band and got there for half 9 just to see them. And they were spectacular. The set wasn't as long as I'd hoped (around 40 minutes, give or take) but it was still amazing. They sang using and either way which are my 2 favourite songs. BUT a few people were talking during either way and it was aggravating, I hope that doesn't happen in Leeds. All in all, you will not be disappointed in terms of quality of music. Have fun! :)
@chubba24728 жыл бұрын
Sarah Miller puppy are amazing, really under appreciated, they don't have many songs but what they do have is quality, don't know how good they are live. I've been listening to sorority for the past hour having never heard them before, they really are awesome, looking forward to it!
