The Digitakt is very versatile and one of the more unique things it can do is loop single cycle waveform samples, effectively turning them into oscillators.

Cool video, I don't own a digitakt but have been playing around with single cycles and wave tables and samplers. I'm curious do you run into problems with pitch range? It seems likeni can only play about 3 octives before the sound thins out alot.

The range on the Digitakt isn't huge. Whether it sounds good or not when pitching up or down by a lot depends on the material tbh. I almost never use "natural sounding" instruments or voices in my productions so it doesn't bother me if something sounds weird, it's actually what I want ;-)

You mean polyphony, than buy a retrokits rk002 cable and you can have a 8voice digital synth
