Using diodes to fix LED problem on Suzuki GS450L

Metric diode kit is what I installed today on the 1981 Suzuki GS450L. The LED lights I installed all flashed together and adding the diodes solved it

What kind of diodes did you get? I'm assuming a 1n4000 series (maybe 1n4001)?

So did you connect the short green coming out of the connector to the lead of the diode kit, and then 1 ground and the other part of the green wire to the Y split ends of the diode kit? Then ground the last part of that black wire. I have a 1980 gs450L and am looking to do this same conversion this video has been so helpful! Best tutorial out there. Did you need a specific relay replacement or will any LED 2 prong relay work? Thank you for this video!

Yes that’s how I wired it and the relay was just called 2 pin 12v motorcycle LED indicator light relay. Thank you for the comment and have a great day
