Just for the record, you're pretty because you look like YOU, not a celebrity that people automatically want to associate you with. I know that alopecia is a genetic disorder and may have generational curse linked to them. I encourage to pray wholeheartedly because prayer does solve your problems. Moreover, the product seemed to temporarily fix the problem, but I pray that you will one day come on this channel and celebrate that your edges will be growing again. God bless you and thank you for sharing your condition with us.

I clicked this video out of curiosity and I have to say wow!! I can't imagine losing my hair like this, I'm so glad it worked out for you and you're happy with the results. And all of the mean comments, I don't understand. This could happen to them too. You just never know. Maybe meds you're taking that you need to survive could cause this, a lot of things can cause you to lose your hair so be careful about what you say about someone to make them feel bad about themselves because you feel like being mean and think it's cute. I believe by making this video this woman saved someone who may be suffering in silence and not knowing what to do. I may not need this now but you never know what the future holds for you and I'm glad I'm wiser just in case. So I thank you ahead of time for the info. 🤗🤗🤗

Wow it looks so real! All the women in my family have thinning edges especially at our temples. I use a colored pencil and toothbrush for my edges to make it full only when I'm going to pull it up into a ponytail. I've used castor oil and other natural products and they didn't help it grow back.

Ppl really have a lot of nerve behind these keyboards... smh... and I didn't know we had so many "hair doctors" in the world also... y'all should be rich with all your remedies... you do what works for you!! And this was a great short term alternative...believe it or not you've helped a lot of women... and these trolls are the reason a lot of women tend to hide their hair issues.. thinning edges aren't necessarily caused by weaves, braids, or wigs. Sometimes it is hereditary like she said. You are beautiful QUEEN... thanks for the video!

That really did work for you. I'm ordering a similar product & looking for reviews. As to the comments, some people are abysmally rude or just plain ignorant. Alopecia can't be cured by castor oil, scalp massages, expensive hair vitamins or old wives' tales. Someone who wears weaves or wigs regularly & notices thinning and catches it early on may be able to correct damage due to traction alopecia that's not longstanding. There is no cure for permanent alopecia, doesn't matter what anyone says or claims to have been told. There are also physiological, health & age related reasons for alopecia or any hair loss/thinning. In the grand scheme of things, it really is only hair & many women regardless of ethnicity deal with issues of hair loss, balding & thinning, regardless of hair practices.

Hi I use topikk which is the same as this, but i found out that the fibers will not hold to my edges if i do not have product on my edges, so meaning i have to have some oil, or grease or edge tamer which is my product of choice to use with my fiber. So i apply the edge tamer to slick down the few hairs that i do have on my edges and then i brush it, next i add on the fiber and i use my finger to pat the fiber down, i love fiber it really has help me with my confidence!!!!!!!!

my edges look the same way. Follicle damage. I have been working on them for a while but I don't stay steady to the product. After about a year I now seeing some growth. I started focusing on repairing the follicle and blood circulation in the hair line area. my edges have been in shock for many years because I was introduced to weaves very early and just didn't care about my mane. You know the " can't grow it, sew it mentality ". Now I'm older and on a natural hair vibe, I'm feeling the edgeless pains and struggles. Im using a mist I homemade that's working well, from fresh Rosemary and some other oils. But this is tempting. I like your results but DOES IT HAVE GROWING POWER or does it just mask the problem?

I'm so scared to use products like this because I often wonder do these products make your problem areas worse to get you to keep buying them.

Leah Nichole 😂😂😂 sometimes I have that same thought but I've tried anything that's supposed to be good on my edges? they grow back and then break again...at a point am just thinking anything that I can do to cover them I'll do...but your comment made me smile because we kinda thought the same

This would be great to use if you had a special occasion and had your hair in an updo or something. I guess over time it can be pretty costly. I have a thin side on my locs. i keep a bottle of dark brown Adore semi perm. I just dip a toothbrush in and stipple it over the thin spot looks fairly natural one its dry.
@Phreeinlove

Yes, I do not wear it everyday bc I don't have time for it lol. It is nice to have for a special occasion though like you said. How long have you had your loc? Is having locs helping or making it worse?
@DollyMat
@DollyMat 7 жыл бұрын
I've had my locs almost 10 years next year. Mines are very long now but i keep them below bust level so cut them every year. Tbh In my experience, no i dont think having locs will help it but it shouldn't make it worse. Be carefull of their weight as they get longer though. If you plan on free forming this may be better overall for your hair and scalp as its less manipulation. I also use rosemary in a homemade oil i apply to my scalp in the thin area and all over.
@Phreeinlove
@Phreeinlove 7 жыл бұрын
Good to know! I appreciate your honestly! I was wondering if it would make it worse because I heard so many negative comments about starting locs with thin hair.
@DollyMat
@DollyMat 7 жыл бұрын
I think if you have thin hair the way the locs are spread on the scalp is more important so it doesn't look too scalpy. For instance a brick pattern would be good as it gives a fuller look to the locs. Anyway enjoy your loc journey.

Great video...I use a similar product. Try taking a Q-tip, dip it in alcohol and clean around your edges. It'll look like you have a lineup and it'll clean any access off of your skin. But, your hair looks good. 😊 Also, try "Toppik". It's the same stuff, maybe a little cheaper and you can get it from Sally's.

That was fascinating to watch, I am sitting here in awe of hair in a bottle. I have always had thin edges because it's hereditary for my family and having a single Dad and then Japanese stepmother= them not knowing how to do my hair except having black ladies with 3 inch acyrlics on, ripping my hair out as a child with how tight they braided.
