I find that lip stains stick more to the parts of my lips that are chapped and this causes the patchiness. It helps to use a lip scrub first and then make sure your lips are moisturized before going in with the stain.

Some lip stains are pretty forgiving. I have the benetint one and it takes a bit to dry and is very buildable so if I get too much outside of my lip, I just wipe it off gently. I’ve heard that the Etude House water tint is a cheaper version so try that out!

Not always. That's just a style of makeup. That's like saying "Nah Americans arch out their eyebrows" yeah we do sometimes, but not always. Some Americans just fill in their natural arch. Some will do the soap brow look to get that bushy look.

Girl I love your vids, but that stain was so uneven it looks like you lower lip has a blister 💀, I think it sat on the lip too long before blending, maybe try spreading it as soon as it hits the lip

The Korean way to use a lip tint is by applying it in the center of the lips, and blending it outwards. You had the right idea, but you should've put it more on the inner part of the lips. You didn't really mess up, but because you applied it all over the center, it looks patchy.

Lovely. 💖 As someone who's seen the rise and staple mode of lip stains and tints, the best thing you can do is truly prep your lips. Scrub off those chap or old skin from the lips then balm it (don't force yourself to wear anything, especially tints/stains if you have a wounded lip, it's not worth it, you'll end up stinging that area). Afterwards, the key is a little goes a long way. Watery and gel stains and tints can be stubborn and won't be easy to clean, but it means it lasts long. There are now oils, mousse and velvet-cream ones, the most popular were from Peri Pera lip tints. Good luck and have fun.

It actually is, gradients was so 2016. Now, instead of applying it like a paint, they drap a little im the center and use their finger to spread. U hardly see koreans with bold painted lips

I like both versions with a little bit of tweaking. The full coverage way gave you more color but the lips don't need to be over-lined. The Kbeauty version needed a little more stain on the top lip but overall, it's pretty.

Try one dot on the bottom lip and one dot on the top lip. Don’t use you fingers to blend, I don’t know how to say this but like smack them together? And after put the lip gloss on. 😁 Hope this helps!

I suggest you apply more on the center then blend it all out to get the Korean lip stain effect, and I think you put too much moisturizer and that what makes it all patchy, so dry up the lips just a bit before applying

Most likely the uneven appearance is because of the fact that you exfoliated the night before so your skin hasn't fully recovered yet especially in certain areas

Why is it every video of Fenty products I find her to literally always finds something negative to say. And the crazy thing is you can see her purposely applying it the wrong way. Like the lipstick from Fenty she puts an lip oil product before a lipstick and wonders why it isn’t as pigment. Of course you can use a balm before but before your lip product the normal thing to do is pat off the access. Miss RARE BEAUTY… seems so obvious what you are trying to do.

When is the Korean way supposed to happen. All I saw was the usual way. I don’t know it looks like these days I’m seeing a lot of things recycled And then if you add the word Korean to it people think it’s new. You see it in fashion hairstyles etc. I’m like how does that make the Korean. It was in the west like over two decades ago. They usually start from the very inner(not just the middle) parts of the lips, then will lightly dab to the full lips, they will then apply a bit more in the inner part to maintain a more gradiant effect on the lips. They usually do not put it like the way she did in this video. You can also google it for reference.
