Great video, Common Craft have great videos with a very distinct look and feel (this can be a problem)

@jimjim647 You have a valid point. But Gmail was his example (perhaps a bad one), the actual point he was making was company sensitive data stored physically outside the company's servers (in the case of Gmail: Google's servers). I've come across a number of companies that don't allow the use of Google products for this reason. I'm not sure that I would do the same, but I can understand the reasoning behind it.

I think Google has made some agreements with common craft. Because this video just resembles their style of video making. I could even hear the same voice of leelefever.

I am going to take the leap, as a single user. Now, when I get frustrated, because neither SF or Google (reseller) won't help me, then I will scream! Sounds like these two parties are competing and a little mental. Why are both parties offering the other on their own app stores? (AppExchange and MarketPlace) The history is too deep and involved for little old me. I like one calendar, I email and docs I can send from a link instead as an attachment. So, by this time next month, I should know!

Have you tried gluing five to six SalesForce applications together? Duct Tape works as well.

google docs has plenty of privacy settings that allow you to share docs both within and external to an organization.

I like this one... even more integrated. Search for "using Office 365 with CRM online".

you have to invite people as contributers or watchers, when you are a watcher you can't edit things. the downside is that you can't view realtime updates:(

looks like the way to go from where I'm standing, unless SalesForce or Google starts price gouging for apps.

Do the google docs have privicy settings? Or is it open to everyone?
