Using Gouache on Black Watercolor Paper! 😍🐝

Today I am going to be trying the Stonehenge Aqua Black 100% Cotton Watercolor paper for the first time! I will painting a bumblebee and dandelion in gouache! The combination of gouache and black paper is sooo satisfying!

I just recently got some black paper, but haven't used it yet. I do like the results you got on it though. The gouache and pastel pencils definitely popped against that dark background. I've been looking into this brand of pastels and couldn't find any light-fast info on them. Do you know if/where Generals has that posted. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for watching! Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that they have posted any lightfast ratings on them. I couldn't find any lightfast ratings for them online, and the pencils are not marked either. If I find out any more information, I will let you know!
