I understand your point, and I sympathize with these men. But, truthfully, online dating is a playing field where 90% of men simply can't compete. If you're not exceptionally handsome, you shouldn't expect much from any dating app.

Tinder, in specific, I know does this infamously. I needed to verify my account when I used it before, and it took very long, only to shadowban me immediately after. They are very predatory with their business. And it's a double-edged sword really, because I'm sure the ID verification in place right now pushes away more customers than it attracts (legitimate ones too) but some sort of improved system to combat this would be of great use, especially with the rise of AI and automation.

@@adamralph113 Yeah, I have never used a dating app ever because I know it is a rigged game for most men. The dating apps make you pay money and there is no guarantee that you will find love. On top of that, there are girls on Tinder just to promote their Onlyfans or seek validation and now with AI there can be fake women. If I ever did decide to use a dating app, it would probably be bumble because it requires the woman to make the first move which means she has to show interest first.
