I got 80s velvet hot rollers from one of my great aunts yesterday and am watching this to figure out how to use them. I have super short hair(1/2 inch shave but then long enough on the top to sit to my eyebrows usually it has grown a little since I last had them cut) so I'm hoping I can use them while my hair grows before I get it cut again.

I think that’s a great idea! You should get lots of volume on top

Oh yes! I was in high school in the 80s and was a hot curler expert! After years of having short hair, I am now growing it out a bit again. Thanks for the refresher course. I may need to buy a new set of curlers!

Hot rollers were my jam. FYI: if you put the clip in the opposite direction it will hold the roller against your head more securely. Great tutorial.

Why would you do a video with such a greasy hair, it was kind of gross to look at especially the underneath parts ☹️ why not just…. Wash your hair if you’re doing your hair tutorial?
