Single dad here and my 7 year old came to me asking for hot rollers... Found your video, love it! I can not get it perfect like yours yet and I stress yet. Before this video I was clueless! Thanks again!
@PurrBiteMeow8 ай бұрын
If she's 7 she will have a smaller head and she would benefit greatly from a travel sized set of hot rollers to start with. Sets made by Conair and Remington would probably be perfect for her and give her great curls. These hot rollers are better for really loose waves. ❤

@@PurrBiteMeow Ah ok, that makes sense. I did not think about that. I just purchased what she showed me and its the exact set in this video. Thank you so much for letting me know! Ill order some today!

I'm 59 and hadn't used hotrollers since 1983, but I ordered a new set from Amazon with my Mother's Day gift card. Watched your video while I rolled them in. I don't remember using hairspray, but great tip! One nice change is the heated clips. I lost chunks of scalp from those old wire clips. Apparently, I did a good job! My stepson just told me he likes my bouncy hair better than my usual hair claw in hurry look😂

Hahah I love it! I would love a set with heated clips, I think that would be a lot better but this still works :) it definitely looks more elevated than a typical blow dry!!

I have been using hot rollers for almost 15 years and they have never let me down. Very similar to the way you do it. Works wonderful with thick coarse hair.

Yes! It definitely wouldn’t hold as well on thinner hair unless you use more products

Yes!! That’s what I noticed too. I think hot rollers are the closest thing to a blowout look that will stay longer 🥰

Thank you very much. I have thick curly 3B hair, so I know exactly what pain it is to change our natural pattern... I would do the whole process certainly longer. But I am very pleased that you showed that not only T3 hot rollers work... those are very expensive. I might try these. I long for bouncy fluffy big waves. Not that I am not happy with my spirals, it is just nice to have some change from time to time.

I would recommend a set with heated clips! Yes I feel your pain going from curly to a blowout or curls 😅

@@PatriciaBerenzon That's great :) I love when people feel good with themself both in 'polished' version and the natural one :) I also have wavy/curly, but in some areas straight hair (it just couldn't be another way :D), so I instantly noticed your amazing natural look ❤

Try hair oiling! I damaged my hair since making that video by going lighter with balayage and now I’m getting my hair stronger by oiling my scalp with the Miele rosemary oil (Amazon) + weekly hair mask on my ends ❤️

Do you use mousse on dry hair?

If I don't have clips what do I do?
@NavigatorMother Жыл бұрын
I bought hair ties once. I rolled up the hair in the hot roller as tight as I could, then put the elasticated hair tie around the centre line of the roller. It's not a great grip. But when you're desperate and you've got bobby pins to tighten the whole affair closer to the scalp, it will do. I only wish I could draw what I mean for you. It's more effective if your hair isn't too short. Good luck, hey.

What was the deal with her spill about wearing her hair "natural" several times a week?! As a white girl with stick straight "natural" hair I do not make excuses when I curl my hair so what was her point on wearing her hair natural. Kinda sounds like she thinks straight hair is a negative ....why I wonder?!!!
@PatriciaBerenzon9 ай бұрын
Using heat on your hair is not good LOL.. it's best for your hair to embrace your natural hair and not fry it all the time with heat. Of course it's a negative to use heat on your hair multiple times a week
