USING LIQUI MOLY ENGINE FLUSH PLUS ON MY AUDI 200

Hello everybody ! In todays video I'll be using liqui moly's engine flush plus on my 1989 audi 200 2.2 10v turbo engine to see if it does anything good to this 33 year old engine that has quite high rpm's on cold start and a bad valve lifter ticking noise until it get's warm.

How often do you do this & is the car still running good?

This one was my first time using it , car run better after it . This / or the next month I'll do it second time before season opening . And not long ago I did it on my vw passat b5.5 1.9 tdi and the one thing I saw changing was reduced motor shaking. I've also made a video with vw , but that one was in my native language - Lithuanian .

Dude you are F’n hilarious! I would have never thought that the word “gesture” would give a Russian living in Hamburg such a difficult time. However, you made the point and got the car started to boot! I spent 5 yrs in Europe (2-Italy, 3-Heidelberg) during the early ‘90s as a U.S. Army Airborne Paratrooper. Are you meant to rev the engine up a little bit with the engine flush in? Or just leave the engine alone?

I just left it idling. Maybe it would help to give some revs , but I can't remember what the instructions said 😁 I'll be using engine flush on passat b5.5 tdi soon and then I'll check the instructions again 😅

I wouldn't rev personally. This isn't a good lubricant

The thing is , the oil is still in the engine , therefore, I think reving wouldn't do much damage 🤔

Engine flushes don't often fix poorly mantained vehicles. They often cause more damage by blocking oil passages with clumps of sludge. However they are an option with well maintained cars with new issues. For example noisy lifters or poor compression from sticky piston rings. You can also try to fix sticky piston rings with fuel additives, like Yamaha Ring Free though. Just don't expect these solutions to magically clean the engine like new or not expose other issues such as leaky seals hidden by sluge.

My audi is currently running with liqui molly mos2 10w-40 , it works well , no unwanted sounds or anything . And since it's my weekend car, I've only put around 500 km this season so far. Therefore, I can't say anything more about this oil 😁
