Using My Switch To Grind Battles On The Vital Brace!!

EASIER TIP FOR NINTENDO SWITCH NFC BATTLES: Just go in to the Switch System Settings on home screen and scroll down to Amiibo. Tap on the Register Name button and then scan your Vital Bracelet when it prompts to scan an amiibo. This way you don’t have to load up a game to get to the scan amiibo interface. Also I’ve had luck with tapping my Vital Bracelet to my local transit NFC readers. We have NFC card payment machines on our buses and our Light Rail Transit gates. Just tapping the VB to where I would normally tap my transit card works. If you’re in Canada, specifically Ontario, any Presto Card reader will work.

I just realized.... Bandai can totally make a Digimon game for Switch that's compatible with the Vital Bracelet. If you can transfer Digimon from the VB to the App, then you could also probably transfer it to, say, a new Digimon World game :)

For the green number, it's what your heart rate needs to be above in order to get vital points, it's considered your resting heart rate, and can be changed to your current (resting) heart rate by long pressing both buttons.

I had the same issue with not being able to get trophies the next day. Humulos told me in the discord that after you power off the vb at night you have to set the clock to 23:59 and wait a minute. Then set the time correctly. This will reset trophies.

4:05 I looked up the guide and there's no Jogress chart, just the evolution requirements for ones that can only be obtained by Jogress (which seems to be only Omegamon and Zwart). Darn.

Quick question, how do I get my digimon to win more battles. I get him to Pulsemon and it just loses every battle. how do I make him stronger? I average anywhere between 25,000-32,000 steps a day.

just run from every battle except for other rookie encounters (probably other pulsemon). look up the types for your digimon, too, theres virus, vaccine und data. virus beats data, data beats vaccine und vaccine beats virus. dont fight mon's with the weaker typing, best to pick fights with what you're strong against or same typing.

Just got the new BE version and it's... better.....? Ish.....? It still feels cheap and the struggle to get any NFC stuff to work with it is real. But so far, after getting to Rookie and turning it off several times, there don't seem to be any real bugs? It seems like it works pretty well. The one big downside is that apparently the first app just died super hard and the new app just isn't that great. It's a huge shame, but it is what it is, I guess.

I feel ya on the rookie wait. What I did last night was start a digimon at night. You don't need any care to get to rookie (or trash champion) so you can let it chill before you go to bed, let it get to rookie, and keep it up over night to shorten the wait for your first champion

Actually the vital value won't reset when u turned off the device. It is set back to zero because u evolved to champion. Vital value will be reset after evolution from champion and so on

I feel like the rookie wait is fine, it's still half as short as the DM20th. It's also a shame that you can't permanently collect the backgrounds. I get not permanently downloading all of the sprites from a dim but the backgrounds are just static jpegs.

Vital values reset when the mon evolves

top number is your base rate, bottom number is your current rate. Everytime your rate is above your base rate you can get vital values. The base rate cannot go under 65.

Actually the 'reset' to 0 vital values is because from Rookie to Champion to Ultimate to Mega will always reset Vital Values. But I guess you already know now after so many months. hahaha

Switching off the VB actually preserves the Vital Values as it is rather than reset to 0. Anyway that is not so relevant in the era of Digivice - V -, where you hardly have any reason to switch it off. haha.

Vital values reset on evolution so turning it off has no downside except that you need the clock to roll over to the next day to get your missions for the day

Another tip: Do not adjust your date and time. It will reset your vitality and steps. I tried after working out. Big regret. Another thing I don't like is that you can't do any missions when your digimon is sleeping. That happens around 8pm which is too early for people who works 8-5 or 9-6. You can still rack up vitality and steps but it's waste not to do the missions as well.
