That is really cool. I like that between y’all and A.T.F. I have learned a lot. Keep doing what you’re doing. If I wasn’t a poor boy on disability y’all have my work.

When spraying over stencils to avoid getting heavy paint lines, do you spray faster, back the gun up, or alittle of both? .
@BransonCerakote5 жыл бұрын
It's more a touch, than a setting. Experience has just shown me how to avoid that problem. If I had to nail it down, I'd say spray a little faster. I just know what it needs to look like when I'm spraying.

Hey man, those filters youre using in your respirators are for dust not paint chemicals

Do u bake the stencils or do u remove it ?
@BransonCerakote4 жыл бұрын
Once I've sprayed the final color, I bake everything for about 15 minutes at 180. Remove the project from the oven, and peel the stencils. Put the polymer back in, and finish baking for 2 hours at 180. Once that's done, take the poly out, put the metal in, and bake the metal at 250 for 2 hours.

Branson Cerakote So if I have steel and polymer do I need to bake them separately if I’m doing the same camo

Can I spray over cerakote once it has been cured, or should I reblast and start over
@BransonCerakote5 жыл бұрын
Once it's baked hard, additional Cerakote won't stick. If you need to do more, you have to start from scratch.

Do you have any kryptek camo videos

Nope. They threatened to sue us.

Branson Cerakote wow you would think they would want their camo advertised

@@jackiecornwell259 Long story. It had a lot to do with a misunderstanding on our part, but we decided to play it safe, and just stay clear altogether. They dropped the issue, and it would be dumb to poke the bear a second time. Montactical used to have a pretty good video on it.
@guslulu41263 жыл бұрын
@@BransonCerakote there are a shit ton of Kryptek style paint job tutorials on KZbin. You shouldn’t have and issue if you don’t use their name. Call it Krypt-hex camo or whatever. They can’t trademark geometric shapes.

@@guslulu4126 The way the copyright law reads is if it can be looked at and reasonably assumed to be the original, then it's an infringement. Not worth getting into rough water for a pattern we don't get requests for more than 4 or 5 times a year.

Quality of your work is great but the video sucked to be honest. Most are hear you learn how to do it themselves and you just showing spraying colors and then it’s like bam videos over here’s a finished product. That doesn’t help anyone unfortunately. Gun looks pretty bad ass though.

Most of the techniques, sanding, degreasing, base coat, etc are covered in other videos. Some of our videos, this one included, are for specific topics or techniques. We were just showing people what camo looks like with non-traditional colors.
