Using original parts to build a 32 Ford roadster we call "The International Roadster"

E-173 Another project starting in the shop. The fall of 2023 we got delivered to us original piece for a 1932 roadster. The goal is to use as much original metal as possible to put a car together. Since the parts were found all over the world, we are calling this one "The International Roadster".

Another great start to another wonderful project. There was. As fellow over here in England was bringing cars in from South Africa and Argentina, if I remember correctly. And he did ship some flat pack style to be rebuilt when back home. Sorry I cannot remember his name. I think it’s amazing what is still about around the world. Will follow along till the end. This metal from south Africa is the best old metal I've worked with so far. The drain holes in the bottoms of the doors are still perfect!

It is a 4 cylinder engine support on the firewall and a 4 cylinder gas pedal

Yes I think you're right. Someone else has told me that it's an early firewall as it has a spot for an oil can.

I like 30-31 and 28-29 as well. I think a 29 highboy is very cool looking. For whatever reason folks are bringing 32-35 Ford stuff to me a lot.

Would love to have something like that and if the work keeps coming in I'm going to have to invest in that. My shop was originally just for fun but as soon as one rolls out another comes in. I'm 6'2" so it's hard on my knees and back. At least I wear knee pads now.

Derek , l'm the same build as you. I used 2 by 4 Steel Tubing with 1 by 2 splayed legs , roughly waist high by 4ft wide. Will hold any size Frame??? I mount Suspension on the floor and everything else at waist height. Drive Line , Brake Lines , Exhaust , Body.... The lot... You're body will thank you. Just Saying... Love your show. 👍👍
