Cool tutorial, that would have been perfect if you had alternate the mute (on/off) of all the parallel channels at the end to see the global difference. Anyway, thank you it was a really cool explanation (and really good idea to uses different channel for the tape, the compressor..etc !) Many thanks !

Hi Evan, have you ever used Artlist for any of your music. And speaking more generally - Reason studios is selling the A-List guitar bundle (4 plugins - pop, power, nylon, and acoustic) for $69 (reg $255). For whatever reason, they say they will discontinue these products on January 24th. Not sure why they are retiring them. If you buy them, they'll still be available in your account.

I'm not into stock music libraries that offer unlimited downloads for a single monthly fee, like Artlist. Musician's are definitely getting ripped off with. it. I have the A-List Nylon and really like it, but I think that the Kontakt acoustic guitar and electric sunburst are probably going to give you better results than the A-List series. That said, $69 is a great price. No idea why they're discontinuing.

@@StockMusicMusician Thanks for the perspective on Artist. As for the A-List guitar stuff it's $69 for ALL 4 in the series, pop chords, power chords, nylon, and acoustic so it's a really good deal although the NI Kontakt stuff is top shelf. Like you, I have no idea why they would be retiring these - i don't even know if they've ever retired any of their REs before. It's not like they take up any physical space on a shelf and they need the room. Could well be that a comparable product / RE is in development for Reason 12. I know that since 2000, I've peppered the company with encouragement to make REason more Rock and guitarist friendly. Not that I carry any weight or influence.
