The integrated handle shape makes creating high quality resin (or resin and wood) serving boards a breeze. No more cutting, forming, and routering handles after the fact and wasting material. You can now create solid resin handles right at the time of your pour.
You can use these molds to create mixed media boards with wood and resin, or just pour up to 1/2", 3/4" or 1" in height to make a thinner full-resin board.

i think i would put some sort of dowel in the handle to epoxy to prevent breaking off...

The epoxy is stronger than a standard wood dowel by far. A metal dowel? Maybe that would help.

Hi Shawn I know you use a different Epoxy than I do however how long have you found that you need to let the product cure before any swirling of the pigments will stay somewhat in your projects? Some people I have talked to say they wait up to 24 hrs and are still able to create some interesting designs as far as color patterns in their work. Thanks Darryl

It really depends on the epoxy set time, the ambient temperature etc. To be honest I RARELY swirl, mostly because i leave projects overnight so dont have a chance to .

Shawn, I have. Dewalt 5 inch orbital sander will that be ok to use on epoxy river tables as well as your awesome products?

Yes, absolutely. I use a 5" Dewalt as well. No issue.

@@CraftedElements hey Shawn, would the 5inch dewalt sander be ok sand the epoxy resin on for my river table? Or do I need a finishing sander to do that with? I heard both than I can use a regular orbital sander and I need to purchase a finishing sander. What would your recommendation? I'm torn on what I need to do to sand the epoxy on my river table. 😫
