how is this channel so underrated? miss estruch, I love how you break down these monstrous topics and make them seem like a lot less nightmare-inducing. you're amazing! keep up the great work!

Hello 👋🏻 Thank you!!! 😊 Really glad you find they help demystify topics. That's what I've tried hard to do, stick to the key points for more concise and clear explanations.

Miss Estruch, I can't thank you enough honestly. You're genuinely helping so many people and doing it so casually. You're not the hero KZbin deserves, but you're the hero it needs.

Hi! I'm watching your maths skills playlist and it is so helpful! I know that maths skills make up 10% of the paper in total, but I was wondering if they tend to be more heavily concentrated in one particular paper? (AQA)
@MissEstruchBiology2 жыл бұрын
Hey no, they are evenly spread typically 😊 Hope the playlist is helping

Hello, thank you so much for explaining this with so much clarity! Is it possible to link the standard deviation 'bars' on the bar graph to talk about the reliability of the results? For instance, can we say that since the standard deviation overlaps between A and C, they are less reliable?
@MissEstruchBiology3 жыл бұрын
the overlap doesn't link to reliability. It just shows there is no significant difference. If the standard deviation is large then the reliability is low, as the repeats must vary a lot from the mean.

i am trying to sketch a normal distribution graph based on a mean of 21.8k and sd of 1k with a range of 19-24k with a nominal value of 22k any advice? i have worked out the numbers but not sure how to show on a bell graph i worked out 19-21.8/2 = -2.8 and 24-21.8/2 = +2.2 i need to show 2 graphs and compare, changing the sd to 21.5 and see which one gives better results closer to 22k.

How would you tell if there is an overlap from a table?
@MissEstruchBiology3 жыл бұрын
See if the value of the mean overlaps when you add/minus the standard deviation. e.g a mean of 7 (SD +/-1.2) and 8 (SD +/- 0.8) are different BUT if the standard deviation were considered then they would overlap (7 -> 8.2) (8 -> 7.2)
