You're an invaluable asset to beginners in 3D texturing with substance painter. I got to school for 3D art and it's really cool to learn so many things from this channel that both go over the basics and bring interesting concepts with different projects, workflows, and tricks into the software. Thanks for killin it, dude!

Awesome tutorial. Really taught me a lot. One thing I would recommend for future videos is to run the audio through a de-esser. Really helps smooth the sound out if you get clipping on certain syllables like in this video. Just makes the "S" sounds a bit less harsh. Not a huge problem either way. Thanks again

Good tip! I'm still learning editing, so that'll help in future videos. Lots to learn about sound editing

23:12 to create gradiant fall off with Fill layer that uses tri-planner/3d space although an actual gradiant filter would have colors i guess this an alternative way of doing it.

So if you had photo texture maps, you could bring them in and add that slope blur to it? :o

Is there a preview of the video format of the 3D coloring book ? Are they all like the chicken video ? I want to learn substance and stylized texturing (hopefully a stylized modeling course in the future that would be fantastic) I don’t want the price to go up before I get it but I’m new to this and I’m trying to justify the cost to myself as I’ve spent around 50 total so far. However I know you create high quality content. So that list of assets on the course curriculum there’s like a commentary video walkthrough on how to make texture it from A-Z beginning to end? Or are those types of videos in the Handpainter coloring book that is in the bundle ? Do I learn how I can apply those techniques learned to my own models In the future? Does it explain all the different types of materials like what makes something PBR or not. I know you’ve probably answered this somewhere but I appreciate it. Have a good day. Thanks for playing 20 questions
