I had a few mouthfuls siphoning diesel back in the day when I was a kid, miss those days now. That's a nice tractor you have there.

to save my back , i put the jerry can on the running board an use a " pocket pump " battery powered fuel pump , i have a 67 allis d17 , quite a bit higher to lift the jerry can . i dont know if that ford came in a gas rig , but i like its size . great vid , thanks

Its a 1981, only came in diesel, half as much power as yours. My hood is probably about 6” lower too. The pump is a good idea, but then it’s another thing to store, keep clean and working. A caddy with a built in pump would be nice. They’re expensive.
