Greetings sir , your openness honesty has always been refreshing, sharing the reality like you do is incredibly respectful. I always preferred the gym you showed the blood sweat & bullets type of gym. The kind of place the gym bunnies , the at"tit"ude & selfie crew would avoid. Thank you for what you do and for being you - Namaste

I think being an introvert and social anxiety bleeds into one another in certain way's. I've always been an introvert with some social anxiety with it and what got me into bodybuilding is that individuality that comes (or did come) with it. Hood up, head down and ear phone's in is what made it special. But now i have a bit of anxiety going into gym's not knowing how full their going to be. Most the younger generation getting into the gym's now do it "for the gram" wearing the latest gym clothing to fit in and it's sad. The first gym i trained at was a temple gym type everyone wearing jumpers and hoodies in all season's no one really talking to one another and i loved that! The fitness industry used to be separate from the bodybuilding community but now it feels like it's all combined together

Yeah, when I first started I had no direction. Not a lot of friends and always self conscious. The first gym had a machine room and a free weights room. Hardly anyone used the free weights. It was 100% my sanctuary. Gym still is to this day at 51. Its where I clear my head

I joined the gym because I developed rare health isssues that make it hard to work a 9-5… the result is a well rounded physique + 40lbs. It keeps me disciplined, I’m not the person who joined the gym just to look good, but to get away from the issues I face on a day to day, it feels great as a man to push weight and push your limits and get results. It feels good.

The gym has given me therapy and peace in dark moments of my life. I really feel the irony of using the gym to escape others and be alone but getting unnecessary attention as a result of the results of your training. I'm nowhere near as impressive as a pro bodybuilder but even being a little more muscular than gen-pop you still get the attention in public that makes anxiety go up.

@james I’ve been following you for many years. Your purpose goes beyond the physicality of bodybuilding. You have an ability to dig deep into the core emotion of what hides behind the muscle. I get the feeling that your prep with Milos will be your final rodeo with the goal of winning the uk Arnold. To what extent is this true and if it is then I believe you will be more purposeful to more people as someone is able to orate at seminars and be really useful to the wider audience with your views. I not only come to you for the hardcore training but for the harder inner core of the mentality of bodybuilding
