Im so happy for you getting the LSG pellet. And I understand you wanting to find out what it's good and not as good things it does. I believe it's strongest point is convenience and eas of use. That said as far as cooks of hot dogs and sausage types of meats, Johnny 5 is the go to cooker in your place. High heat, medium heat and low smoke. All by just how much fuel you use. I'd like to see Johnny 5 used a bit more. Some of your more recent viewers probably haven't seen that cooker and it a great cooker. Have a great day 🌤.

So Johnny 5 is more or onsite cooks so I am only cooking on it when I am going and doing onsite things. It wouldn't have made sense to fire up the grill to to the sausage when the whole point was to see how the Pellet Cabinet did with cooking the sausage. Now If I was onsite like I did for his last event then I would have certainly used the grill table. The events that the grill table will be utilized are coming, no need for me to force it and use it when I don't really need to.

Hey bro ...have to say that LSG Pellet Smoker really does produce some smoke without a doubt....hopefully it added some additional flavor to those Hot Susauages. Cheers 🍻

On the company’s website, in their description of this cabinet smoker it states, “Patent pending burn pot design allowing a mix of hot burning pellets and smoldering ones giving the best smoke profile available on a pellet smoker.” Can you attest to this? I just purchased mine and am waiting for its arrival in 18 weeks (did yours take that long?) This feature got my attention. Tell us about that.

Oh I can attest it produces way more smoke than my Traeger. Unfortunately, yes mine took about that long as well.

I am not done.. but this is the new novel cooker so I have been using it more and more. I want to get comfortable cooking on is as I did using one of my other big smokers. The smoke flavor is there, of course not as much as a stick burner but I'll trade some flavor for convenience.

#TrueStory The good thing was I knew it wasn't going to be "that" bad. But I still prefer the Park's Beef Hot sausage over the Turkey or the ones I cooked here.

Probably. They are 6 to your 1/2 a dozen. More like a spicy hotdog to be honest. A Hot Link to me is fresher qround meat.
