When I went to Vogue Knitting Live in January 2012, I saw a demonstration with this loom kit. I absolutely loved it. I am thinking of getting a second one to make even a longer tube or long loom. I wish Martha can continue with her creative juices and make a craft book using her looms.

I've used this thing to make 2 beanies, 4 ear warmers and 2 scarves, working on a 3rd beanie now. I would have gotten done with all of these project sooner if the pegs hadn't kept popping off, my thumbs are literally bruised from pushing them back in. The hook that comes with the pack is flimsy and bends horribly so, I had to buy a separate one.

Nice looking loom . I purchased years ago. Not happy with it the pick is cheap bad to use a different one. The pegs constantly pops out.

wow, you said the pegs aren't going anywhere,, well that's all wrong, I knit loose and my pegs come loose and fall out, I love these looms, but I cant keep going throught the pegs falling out when im tring to knit on these

Leah Mondloch YES! I totally agree! This is a fun looming concept, but the pegs DO fall out and they DO NOT travel well.

love the video and helpful. I don't think that I would recommend it to anybody. For Martha to put her name on this is surprising to me. I'm going to keep mine and deal with the issues because I do like the different shapes but the issues I have is that the pieces do not fit right together and I have to hammer them together then put a peg in there to keep it on or the pegs come out way to easy. The tool that comes with it is a joke. Its like a paper clip and it bent the first time I used it so I had to purchase another one. I bought my daughter the boye set. Yes it takes up more space but she doesn't have to worry about these issues. For the parents with special needs this would be a good craft for them to do. It makes them feel good about themselves and positivity in creativity.

I got my Martha Stewart Loom and Weave set from Amazon quite a while ago, I got it out the other day to start my great-grandson's afghan or baby blanket and it is broke in one of the joints, so disappointed!!!

For people who say the pegs come out, I've solved it by just placing my finger over the peg as I'm picking; I haven't had a peg come out yet!

Put a small piece of paper towel before inserting peg and it will keep it more secure.

Also the instruction manual that comes with the kit is hard to make head or tails out of so, I had to watch KZbin videos to get a better explanation on how to start and stop the projects.

I have the same problem this loom is so frustrating! I also have to use a hammer to get the pegs in and sometimes the pegs won't even stay in! I wish I never would have bought this. I can't believe Martha Stewart would put her name on something like that. it looks like she left it up to somebody and they failed horribly! And u can hardly find stuff to do on these looms.. very disappointed!

too bad parts don't lock together, most of the holes are closed and pegs come off just by looking at them. it's impossible to use, i ordered and returned 4 of them, they are all defective and very low quality. no wonder they discontinued this loom kit. the KB hat kit is much much better and pegs don't come off since they snap into the holes and lock in place.
