I play a Kemper. Can I change the sound in the Kemper using Onsong via MIDI? e.g. Verse clean sound on bank 1 Chorus clean sound with flanger bank 2 - Solo crunch sound bank 3. Can you explain that to me again or is there a video about it? Can I select a new bank in the Kemper when selecting a new song? Which adapter and connection do I need for that? Can I set onsong up to spit out midi events at specified intervals after launching a backing track? This would be for automating the changes to eliminate the need for tapping the screen.

I have an urgent question. When I use a SongBook App like OnSong or SongBook+ and let the midi-file Control my vl3 effects, I have to place the effects Commands to a particular midi Track in the file, i.E. Track 16. I have to set the vl3 to trigger on midi-Channel 16.Will the vl3 listen to the other midi-Tracks too, to trigger the NaturaPlay Signal. I suggest, ist does not!? This would be a very big disadvantige!

Trying to get this: Flip to next song in the set, change to preset. No additional changes need, just one preset per song. Why it no workee? MIDI connected just fine. Title selected for for event (type: program, channel: all channels [tried channel 1 as well], Program named and selected [preset 1 on my VL3], and even created a Dry Mix [cuz it was a good idea] and enabled the top right corner but no changes happen.

I just want my VL3X to send a signal to OnSong to go to the song page for the present I select with my foot. Then I want the page to scroll in time with the song tempo as I have written in Onsong. Who knows how to set VL3x and Onsong to allow this?

It’s easier to just use your foot … the whole point of VL is that it’s a foot switch… simple , no messing around with iPad OS.

Right, but you can attach another footswitch pedal to scroll to assigned sections in order

I disagree. If you Sing a Song like „Take it easy“ from the Eagles, you have 4 different harmony settings during the Song. You cannot manage this without midi! You can use „Steps“, but it is still a big challange.

Perhaps, if you were to purchase the OnSong foot pedal controller, then (maybe) you could control the scroll function. It’d be great if you could.
