I love the way that people that really love to fish spend time together fishing and enjoying the fresh catch of the day. I wish more people get into fishing , I believe that would mellow people out. Episodes like this are so valuable. There are so many products that seem like a gimmick but work fine. I also appreciate that you include what others would consider an outtake. The mistakes we make are a valuable learning tool. I wish you could come out to Colorado next summer. I know a couple of spots up high in the mountains where these rods would clean up. Try more of those weird or strange products so we can see how they work. Keep up the amazing work. You are an awesome team!👍👍👍

I don't like those store bought fish balls(cá viên)and I haven't found a restaurant that has good ones. That's probably store bought. My wife is Asian and she won't eat them either. One night fishing at the pier where we used to live we met a Thai lady and she gave us a recipe for freshly made ones. When done right they are not fishy but are quite amazing. This recipe uses ladyfish and or mackerel(depends on what you catch). Ladyfish are normally seen as trash fish and mackerel can be fishy if they are not cooked right. With a slight alteration to the recipe, you can make fish burgers/cakes.

That’s a great question… but for my rigs I do use circle hooks… and they work quite well… I think the fish needs to swim away for a second before the rod can set its self
