Using TSA Precheck for the First Time | Flying With Southwest Airlines | Disney Travel Day 2021

This experience flying with Southwest Airlines was a bit of a new experience for us. We got to use our TSA Precheck status for the very first time! In our Disney Travel Day 2021 we are going to share our experience of using TSA Precheck as well as what things are like on a Southwest Flight right now. We also get to use Disney's Magical Express for the very last time before it goes away at the end of the year. Don't worry! We give you some tips on what will be replacing Magical Express so that you can make plans for your future trips.

We absolutely loved flying with Southwest! We’ve flown with them before, but this was the best experience out of the four airlines we’ve flown this year! You guys will LOVE TSA Precheck!

If you have a nexus, sentry or global entry card (or have recently been approved but haven’t received your card) you have global entry provided you meet the citizenship/ residency requirements. Use the PASS ID I think it’s on the back of your card. If you do not have your card the id number is on the letter you were required to bring to your interview. If you’re serving our country in our Armed Forces you also have Precheck and this is for military and personal travel. Check with your unit as to what your KTN is. And thank you for serving.

YES! The ginger helped so much! And we didn’t even realize that the pilot looked back at that exact moment. Mark Alan said someone was walking up the isle and had to move the camera. 😂 Just perfect timing.

I signed up for tsa pre check yesterday and my appointment to get fingerprints and all that is next week but I’m still nervous on messing up because it’s going to be my first time flight next month

No worries. There really isn’t a way to mess it up! They just ask you stuff like your birthday and whatnot. Just make sure that you get your KTN added to your boarding pass BEFORE you check in for your flight! Usually you can either do this by calling or sometimes in their websites depending on the airline.

Is tsa pre check worth it if you only fly 2 times a year

Yes! I think so! It’s not terribly expensive and it’s good for quite a few years!

We are flying southwest in august to Disney world .. and using Mears to get to art of animation.. can you tell me where the southwest counter is at MCO? I know it’s terminal A but nervous as we don’t want to miss our flight home . We are having Mears pick us up an hour earlier than they suggested just in case we get delayed .. any tips would be recommended. This is our 4th trip to Disney but first since magical express is gone and just Mears .

To be honest, I don’t know off the top of my head, but just look at the signs up top! There is usually a list of which airlines are in which terminals and we typically find them pretty quick that way! The MCO staff are also really friendly and very helpful with directions if needed! :)

I would also say that if you are familiar with Magical Express, it’s VERY similar!
