This week I sat down with Dr. Jason Conviser to talk about Whole Body Vibration (WBV). What an INCREDIBLE TECHNOLOGY this is! WBV has been shown to significantly reduce pain levels & increase quality of life in people suffering with chronic pain. It can increase muscle strength & bone density in as little as 10 weeks! WBV has been shown to dramatically improve balance & prevent falls - the leading cause of injury-related ER visits in the elderly. It would be difficult to come up a single device that has such a wide range of benefits as WBV.

Thank you for this excellent tutorial. I needed this. My body is not failing me, I’m failing my body. I have struggled to get my backside off my chair since Covid. I’ve gone from being very active to being a lazy couch potato. This has given me the boost I needed to make a change. I have a vibration machine and I do love it, but I know I also need to move more. 👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

When I had the Covid vaccines i suffered with 22 months of chronic fatigue, everything was an effort, no exercise. Soon found I was up twice a night so i needed to get on and not exercise, to get a good nights sleep.

Thank you! I've been following your videos for several months. When this one came up, I started my own research. I've always been active and committed to my health. Having been diagnosed with Osteopenia 6 years ago, I've been committed to preserving my bones through diet, supplementation and of course, exercise. I had access to a vibration plate as part of my bone density sessions for the past 1 1/2 years, but did not understand the difference between vertical vs. tri-planer until now (also supported in a NASA-sponsored report I found). I knew then I wanted a tri-planer plate. The Power Plate MOVE (at 87 lbs) was too heavy for me (at 119 lbs) to move around my house , so I purchased the PERSONAL Power Plate (at 37 lbs.). It arrived today. I'm over-the-top excited to add this to my exercise routine. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge through your videos.

I'm interested to find out how it works for you because I need something to help myself. Thank you for the information on whole body vibration. Everybody tiptoes around on which machine to buy yet those of us that are in pain and on limited incomes would like to know please what machine we can buy.. I know that dr. Yonl works on the power plate move... That plate cost just under $3,000.. now is there another plate out there that can be beneficial yet maybe will cost half that. There are so many plates out there.. there has to be one out there for seniors that are on limited incomes. Many of us cannot get an appointment with either one of you guys but come on ,give us something that we can do at home to help ourself get out of this discomfort and pain... In my area there are no doctors or therapist around here who even deal with these vibrating machines and we need help. One of my friends gifted me with a vibrating machine that she purchased from home shopping and it's an nice machine but I do not want to be on the wrong machine. I have it set on 1 according to the directions from the doctor on home shopping. I will buy another one to help myself but I don't want to waste money because I don't have directions. Kindly please.. give me directions on what type of machine to buy or will the one I have be ok and if not I will do what I can to get the other machine that doctor Yoni has.. please help me.. and thank you

Great Information. Have watched numerous videos related to vibration therapy, but majority of your audience that really needs it cant afford it. If its such a great tool in the belt, and should be included in treatment of osteoporosis and also preventive therapy, it should be affordable for a reasonable price. It looks like the 2 that are LIV is the power plate and the Marodyne. Both are ridiculously priced. Like everything else, the best treatment is only for the Elite.

Hello. I loved this video. I just found you today. I have been considering the Life Pro RumbleX 4D. I only discovered vibration plates because I get a discount with my Yoga Alliance Certification. I am so excited to have found them. I digress. That said, there is a huge price difference in the Rumble X and Power Plate. Should I just save my pennies and wait until I can get the Power Plate?
@painfixprotocol
@painfixprotocol 3 жыл бұрын
@shawna wyland - I have not tried the RumbleX 4D but from videos, it appears to be a centrally-pivoting vibration. This type of vibration is the least effective form of WBV. They are much more jarring, less comfortable, don't offer the same spectrum of benefits as vertical displacement or triplanar machines. It also takes 4-5 longer to achieve the benefits with centrally-pivoting vibration. Just look here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZO2nqOrprCHlbM If you skip to 3:18 and watch how his body moves on the machine. This unit has great reviews but any of the PowerPlate owners will tell that this movement looks NOTHING like the way your body moves on a PowerPlate. I am still looking for a less expensive machine that can do what the higher end machines can. But right now, my advice right now would be to save up and invest in a quality machine.

Only problem I see with this interview is that the majority of the studies (that show benefits) are done with the seesaw motion. Reason for this is most likely that it is the G-forces that the body experiences that brings the be benefits. There is very little, if any, days on that the oscillating 3d motion has any benefits for muscle traing and bone density

Thanks for commenting. Triplanar vibration hasn't been around that long so yes, more research must be done. But, there is quite a bit of data demonstrating the benefits of linear whole body vibration. And that is equal or better to central-pivoting vibration is most instances (with the exception of balance training). Signorile did an excellent job reviewing the available research on WBV here - www.researchgate.net/publication/265599425_Whole_body_vibration_What%27s_the_most_effective_protocol

Where is the research that says these movements are most effective. Oscillation has been most studied by far and that is why almost every vibration platform has that feature included. These movements you're selling are not proven to be better than oscillation
@painfixprotocol
@painfixprotocol 29 күн бұрын
Thanks for commenting. There are a few things here that need correction: 1. Very few high-quality vibration platforms employ this style of vibration. There are multiple reasons for this: A. It's the least comfortable type of vibration (tends to be jarring) B. It is the most limited in its application. Vertical displacement and real triplanar vibration produce consistently produce better results for almost every variable you can think of - bone density, strength, muscle mass, flexibility, etc. The one area where oscillation really tends to shine is when optimizing for balance training and fall prevention. 2. The main reason that oscillating platforms are so popular is because they are the easiest/east expensive to produce. 3. Depending on what a person is optimizing for - balance, bone density, strength, etc - movement with vibration may or may not be indicated. However, when training for strength, bone density, muscle muscle and flexibility most studies combine movement with vibration to help isolate and increase demand on target tissue. If you're interested, I summarize much of the available research here: painfixprotocol.com/fast-track-your-fitness/
