@@RandyNeilMD I was going through FA where they mentioned Methylphenidate, metamphetamine,lisdexamphetamine all of these increase catecholamines: Dopamine and NE at the synaptic cleft by inhibiting reuptake. Is there any dif between Metamphetamine and Amphetamine?I mean the question you had here, the dif between 02 choices were Dopamine and NE.Could you please clarify, thank you.

@agnes hi :) so the difference between amphetamines also increases ne and da release from the synaptic vesicle, and also acts as a agonist at the receptors where as methyphenidate doesn't :)

Amanda, I will try and "up my game" with question complexity... STEP 1 is about MECHANISM etc... where STEP 3 is about next step in Treatment... But we can incorporate all of it.
