McKennie reported to Juve because he had to. He’s still under contract and must comply with the will of the club. They want him to train separately from the club, but it’s in his best interest to use their facilities.

Most important is that any of these guys especially the younger ones get consistent playing time. It’s worrying me that the days are passing by and no word on Gio and suitors for Weston are disappearing. Off topic - as far as the new coach for USMNT, can we just clone the guy that Morocco hired three weeks before the World Cup started - impressive! Good recap - thanks!
@AMERICANULTRASTALK2 ай бұрын
I’m sensing that Gio might stay at Dortmund this season, it’s really weird that there hasn’t been any concrete interest. Weston needs to take virtually any offer that comes his way, he’s in serious danger of ruining his career. Would love a Walid Regragui clone as manager 😂

Mc Kennie should come to AC Milan and he should play with Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musa together Dear Braden and Dear Yuri.🥰😍🤗
@AMERICANULTRASTALK2 ай бұрын
It would be an interesting move but I don’t think Milan would want him unfortunately. They have a lot of midfield depth, not sure how much Weston would play.

I'm surprised there's no news on Joe Scally. Monchengladbach doesn't seem to want him and he had such a good summer. There is no news at all. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a surprise move at the final hour of the Window
@AMERICANULTRASTALK2 ай бұрын
Interesting take. From what I’ve heard from Gladbach fans, they have a new style of play this season that benefits Scally. I don’t think they’re looking to get rid of him, although maybe they’d sell if the right offer came. I wouldn’t be opposed to a move if a solid club comes in, but I don’t think he’s ready for a huge step up just yet.

A good spot for McKinnie is with Tottenham. They're a top 5 Premier League side, and they need a 6. Ange Postecoglou loves collecting young mids, obviously Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall. Spurs have guys who can play the 6, guys like Bissouma, Betancour, and Gray, but McKinnie does play the style of football that suits the style of Postecoglou. The question is, can McKinnie humble himself just enough to take a little less and go to a very good EPL side and earn his job. I have no doubt that he can, and he should

@AMERICANULTRASTALK2 ай бұрын
I believe there was some interest in Wes from Spurs earlier in the window, but that seems to have faded quickly. Not sure he’d get too many minutes there, the midfield is pretty much full and the additions of Gray and Bergvall (absolute baller) only make it tougher.

@@AMERICANULTRASTALK. But wouldn't you agree that's exactly what McKinnie needs right now? Competition is good for everyone involved
@jonathonedwardmiller2 ай бұрын
McKennie needs to take a top 5/6 competitive club spot and start every game. He has to fix his attitude before I'm fine bringing him back. I prefer Tessman at Fiorentina over Roma, and I prefer Johnny at Fulham over AC Milan. Mark McKenzie imo is our currently best CB. I like Richard's potential, but he is not showing it at all. I would like to see Richards take a move to Bundesliga, which is known for amazing CB development. I love the Anderlecht move for Yow. According to OPTA, that's the #61 club in the world. Huge step up from Westerlo, #329. Luna to Anderlecht or Venezia would be great. McGlynn needs to go to Europe. Prove me wrong about not rating him. He needs to get better physically. La Liga would be a great league for him. Eredivisie is my spot. Tolkin I'm 99% sure will not ever impact the national team. I'm going to let him prove me wrong but that's where I'm at with him.

@@AMERICANULTRASTALK Do you think that there's going to be a strong coach for 2026 and beyond? I want to stay, but only if you think we're going to be serious about building a winning soccer program.

My current guess is that Matarazzo will be the manager for at least the 2030 cycle, but not for the last 2 years of this cycle.

Zubimendi balls at Sociedad again and gets a move to Barcelona next summer. Cardoso balls at Betis and gets a move to Sociedad to replace Zubimendi next summer. McGlynn balls at Philly and replaces Johnny at Betis in slightly different, a deep lying playmaker role. I see the vision.

That’s Jack McGlynn level vision if it turns out that way. Would be the perfect chain reaction 🤞

McKenzie should avoid Stuttgart if he is serious about his career. They currently have 5 Starting quality CBs on the book right now : CHabot, Stergiou, Zagadou, Hendriks and Roault. Yannik Keitel can also step in as CB
@AMERICANULTRASTALK2 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t consider Hendriks or maybe even Stergiou/Rouault starting quality CBs, but the depth is definitely there. It would be safer for him to go to Mainz or Werder Bremen.
@ajibolavincent54962 ай бұрын
@@AMERICANULTRASTALK I disagree with you Stuttgart takes: RCB is Between Hendriks, Roualt and Stergiou while LCB is Chabot for the First 2-4 months with Zagadou's injury. McKenzie will get 1.8k-2.2k minutes with Mainz as there is CCB spot with Sepp Van Den Berg returning to Liverpool.

@@AMERICANULTRASTALK I think there’s a much higher chance that he’d flop completely in the prem than on a ball-dominant team in Serie A. Fulham would be high-risk high-reward, but more risk than reward.

McKennie has been in this situation before. I think if he stays, he can still get significant minutes. He only has Locatelli, Douglas Luiz, and Thuram ahead of him. None of them pose an attacking threat in the way McKennie does. Plus Motta likes a midfield 3, he’d be the first guy off the bench. If he does leave, he has to go mid table Bundesliga, I’d like him at Frankfurt. He would start regularly and help in the recruitment of Nathaniel Brown.
@AMERICANULTRASTALK2 ай бұрын
I would agree with you if he had been involved with the team in preseason. Can’t remember if I said it in this video or not, but Juventus seemed to have learned their lesson from that regard. They wanted him out last season but he forced his way back in during preseason, this time they’re not taking any chances of that.
