+Frinlisha Padilla haha nakakatuwa dati ako lang yung nag tatanong ng ganyan hahaha. Sa english kailangan basta alam mo yung basic. Mind ability basta gamitin lang ang common sense haha ang math at science naman kailangan reviewhin mo lang yung mga pinagaralan nyo nung jhs ka pa. Madali lang yan kung matalino ka pero kung katulad mo ko pwede ka rin mang hula😂Hahaha goodluck!

UST. When I was in my last year studying in another school - after graduating B.S. Psychology from U.S.T. College of Science - the Chair of the Internal Medicine Department, who I got to be close with, asked where I took my pre-med. She was surprised with my reply and asked why I did not go to U.P. She, herself, she bragged, had her Internal Medicine residency and MD from U.P.-P.G.H., her pre-med from U.P. Diliman, and high school from U.P Integrated, but had her Fellowship training in America. I told her that when I was in elementary and high school, I always believed that U.S.T. was the best school in the Philippines, and that, because it was impossible for me to study in Oxford or Harvard, the next best school for me was U.S.T. She laughed in abandon, and asked if I never heard of U.P. or Ateneo when I was in elementary and high school. I told her that I, of course, had heard of Ateneo, but thought that Ateneo was just like my childhood school, which was San Beda, so Ateneo did not impress me. She continued laughing. And I told her that I definitely never wanted to go to U.P. because my "matapobre" of a grandmother, mother, and sister all told me that U.P. is only for scholars - like the daughter of a farmer whom they knew back in the province - so therefore, only for poor people who cannot afford to pay their tuition fees, and who are so poor that students in U.P. didn't even have uniforms and attended classes wearing, sandos, shorts and slippers. And because I inherited my family's "matapobre-ness," I found the very thought of studying in U.P. absolutely abhorrent and horrible. The Internal Medicine Department Chair laughed and practically lost her mind. So, I went to study in the Best School in Mi Patria Adorada. I wonder how many U.S.T students - past and present - thought the way I did when they decided to study in my old school?

they're not too strict on attendance in masses. sadly, the Christian classes part of the curriculum.

+ღ ғιonnalover16 ღ I can only comment on those colleges I've been a part of. Yung iba naming teachers became our friends, but kokonti lang. But generally, IMO, college teachers, compared to high school teachers are more "aloof" towards students. I remember being slightly culture shocked kasi I was close to my HS teachers, and suddenly when I got into college, hindi pwede bsta bsta biruin mga teachers.

Whoaaa, right now I'm a highschool student. Naririnig ko sa mga iba kong pinsan na college students ngayon ang mga experiences nila so far towards their fellow teachers and according to them, hindi rin actually same ang relationship pag college na. Actually may pinsan ako na last time nakick out sa UST sadly and nasa MAPUA ngayon. In my future, kung sakali mag-aaral ako sa UST, I want to at least know a bit of the teachers on college and their attitude towards students, hehe =)
