Finally! Here's an apartment that I love. That ceiling fan is wonderful. The view to the garden is lovely. The loft is spacious and usable. The space at the end of the loft is great for extra clothing storage, and it's nice that there is a place to hang a curtain in front of it. The stairs are good because there is a railing for safety, and the storage underneath is excellent. I'm not greatly fond of the basin in the living area but it's tolerable. And the lack of Toilet Paper Storage is easily overcome: use the top half of the Shoe Cupboard for TPS! This is an incredible apartment, and the price is reasonable given the location and the amenities. Definitely a place worth living in.

@@veramasoero8214 I think this is a place to shave and put makeup on. Where else would you do these activities? I would never want to do that in a kitchen sink. @bethenecampbell64633 ай бұрын
@@Kammy44I think that's why the vanity/basin is in the living room, but it's not an efficient use of space. You can get shower mirrors that don't fog up for men to shave in the shower. A lot of them choose to do that anyway. And a built in desk would be more useful in the living room. It would be great for putting on make up with a portable make up mirror with lights, and useful for anyone as just a desk. Overall I think this is a good apartment. Just this one element is a little off, but definitely can be worked with.

This is a great little apartment. Very unique with the stairs and terrace. And the ceiling fan is a boost for the loft space. I'd take that top door off of the shoe closet and rearrange the shelves to make a nice little entry landing for keys, mail and such. Put a mirror in and some little fairy lights. A front loading, flat topped washing machine for extra counter space and a fridge that's short enough to add easily reachable space on top. I would get a "trunk bunk" bed platform that expands from 24 inches to 42 inches and come between five and six feet long. One of those lengths would surely fit into the space across from the stairs. That leaves the entire loft for plenty of storage. The terrace is lovely and large enough for a few plants and a bird feeder. No real need for a chair as you could easily sit on one of the steps. Thanks for finding this one for us.

How nice to have a little terrace to sit and enjoy a book and a cup of tea. It’s all thoughtfully laid out. The stairs/window seat/storage is ingenious - and even has a handrail. It is well-appointed with fixtures and fittings, and has more storage than most micro apartments. You don’t have to sleep in the narrow part of the loft, you can put a futon at an angle. Plenty of loft storage for suitcase or hobby equipment (hidden by curtain? Less clutter.) The extra washbasin beside the stairs … it seems a waste of space to have 3 sinks in such a tiny space, but maybe local regulations require it. And the washbasin does have storage for toilet paper and cleaning supplies. You just have to remember to keep one extra roll in the toilet room!😄 One can have a life, living here!

This is lovely! Instead of a chair & low table, i would put a comfy bench or chaise lounge, and I would invest in a really good folding laptray for my laptop or whatever. The empty storage space on the stairs could be home to a little stereo, or my books. In the loft, it looked like there was a hanging rail & a curtain rail at the back - i would get some hanging storage and a thin curtain to section it off. For the rest of the loft, i would use a futon mattress for sleeping, and then have my TV (or a projector) with loads of cushions & blankets. I would use the sink in the living area for my toiletries, toothbrush etc, as you are not going to be using the one above the toilet to brush your teeth 😂 I think it's a very well laid out apartment, and the high ceilings and windows give a light and airy vibe. And i don't know how competitive the rent is for Japan, but in the UK, that would be an absolute steal! I pay double that rent for my tiny apartment, and i don't live in a major city!

I like the large glass door to the terrace - there is a lot of light in the apartment. The sink is just right - if you just need to wash your face or brush your teeth. There is no work surface in the kitchen to cook - but a large board will solve this problem. In general, the apartment is great - the main thing is that you can sit outside - you can make a small cozy garden there and you can eat outside. In the living room you can put a desk and a good chair in which you can work, relax and watch a movie. In general, the apartment is great and the price is reasonable.

This place really has a lot to offer. The location is great, to start. Then the large window and stair design really open up the space, making it feel bigger than it is (with that lovely view cementing the deal). The loft ceiling height is low, but given the micro apartment status, a futon of some type would be sufficient, along with the storage provided by that space. The kitchen functions well and the shoe rack is large enough. The washing machine pokes out a bit too far into the entrance, but that seems to be not uncommon. The toilet and shower are average and seem a bit worn. Finally, the price felt reasonable. I’d give this place a go if I were looking.

It's an odd place. The sink under the stairs, and the whole stair/terrace/closet cluster in one spot. But it does feel kinda homey. The stone wall and wood floor give the terrace a kind if forest-y vibe. It feels peaceful, like sitting with a cup of coffee in the morning. The loft is low, but if you used a futon it could still be a cozy place to sleep. I would rate it a 7/10.

WoW! I'll take it! LOL! I love the quirky design! I could see myself in this, if it were just me. I've never heard of the dishes stored under the sink before so I'd probably get a small fridge and put shelves above it for them. I like the wash basin in the living area tho cus I like to brush my teeth and wash my hands several times a day (I like feeling clean teeth and I do messy things a lot so it's convenient). I think I'd make that lowest shelf in the storage rack in front of the window into a little seated on the floor office area. I'd have a higher eating table and chairs in the open space and a small reading chair too. I can see the loft area being both a sleeping area and a tv etc area too. I think this is my fave one yet! Ground floor with terrace and lovely view of the neighboring space plus rent isn't too much (lol, I live in Los Angeles area so even the highest rent you've shown is a steal) but this one is nicely in the middle of the rents you've shown for places. Good morning from cool autumnal northern Germany. I think your video and the apartment are beautiful. The apartment is also very practical. The two-part shoe cupboard can be used for shoes downstairs and for household and daily necessities upstairs (including toilet paper). The kitchen, bathroom and shower room are small, but adequate. The sink in the living room is a curiosity, but OK. The storage options under the stairs are very practical for storage boxes like the ones you use. Your idea of furnishing is very good, but I think that a bed with a low bed frame would fit in the loft space. It is unwise to use the steps with socks because of the risk of slipping; slippers are much better. The rent is pleasantly low despite the good location in Nakano-ku. 😊

I didn't know I needed this. You went through EVERYTHING, and that's what made me subscribe. I almost believe I could live there, well I could if I had to get everything so it would line up. The washing machine could be a front load so you could make the top into counter space as I cook (I need counter space) also a mini fridge would work if there were a store nearby to buy so I don't need to stock up. The shoe storage on top could be a panty the underneath could be for shoes as I gave up most of mine so almost 2 shelves would more than be enough. In the living room I could use a sofa that pulls out into a bed, if need be, a folding table when I needed one. The doorway between the kitchen and the living room could have been removed for it to be less claustrophobic and use just a post or something. The loft is usable, if it were just me. The narrow part could have been the sleeping area, and the wider area could have been storage or an office depending on what was needed. You video gave me great ideas I haven't had in a while. I enjoy creating apartment ideas as I have a property which is 10,000sq I was planning to do some slightly big single bedroom but the cost to rent would be high for a young adult, so I have been thinking of changing it to keep the cost down to be easily affordable.

Air-conditioning AND ceiling fan and patio doors you can see through and a little terrace! Win, win, win! Lovely glass in door separating kitchen. Two burners and a very good exhaust fan. So much storage, so much. I’d do futon in the loft. Those stairs and that railing are so solid looking. I’d do a sitting desk in that loft space too, low desk. A window up there! And the outside looks so nice and nit high up and what a fabulous price. This one is a solid 9/10 for me. Those patio doors make it feel spacious and light. The washbasin seems oddly placed - I would personally forgo that and just double up the kitchen sink so that the extra space could be used for a small desk - but it's not a deal-breaker and overall I love the layout of this space. Those stairs with the open storage underneath is a great idea. The large nook looks like an ideal place for a decent sized TV. I like that they provided a curtain rack upstairs in case you want to use that section for extra clothes storage. I actually like this one! Nice stable, safe stairs with storage underneath! The loft looks roomier than you try to indicate. I would put a regular twin mattress without a bed frame in the wider area closer to the stairs. (It looks like it would fit; and you really don’t need or want a bed frame in a loft like that.) The back narrower area of the loft would be for storage. Toilet paper could be stored in the cabinet under the sink for toothbrushing, face washing etc. (I agree it’s a bit of a pain to have toilet paper storage through two doors away from the toilet instead of in the same room as the toilet.) I don’t like the fixed gas burner; but I would get a cutting board to put over the kitchen sink for a prep area. Then about a counter height refrigerator and a microwave to put on top of it. If I had to live in a micro apt, I wouldn’t have that many shoes so I would take out the shelves from the top level of the “shoe cabinet” and put a bar on top to hang jackets. The little terrace is nice and looks big enough to put a small chair and side table. I think you tend to sometimes focus on the things you prioritize. (Ie: Bed type) That worked well back when the concept of your videos was looking for an apartment for yourself. But since you decided to stay in your apartment, but continue showing us different apartments; it might be interesting to try to show how others live in these tiny spaces. I realize that is much more difficult to do; but it would be interesting if you can recruit some people who would be willing to let you video their spaces. Like first show an empty apartment; then the apartment of someone living in an apartment in the building with the same layout to see how the space is really used.

The ceiling fan and the window would help with the temperature in the loft area and there's enough room for a desk downstairs that can double as a work/dining/lounge surface with an ergonomic chair and a multipurpose stool/side table. The stair storage almost (almost!) makes up for no bathroom storage, but there are renter-friendly options for that! Couple that with the price and accessible location and it's a solid 8.5/10. Very efficient layout, love the ceiling height, loft, bathroom & terrace. Rent amount seems appropriate.

I give this one a solid 7 I think. The loft is spacious and I love the little terrace. Thank you for the video 🙂

What I have in my bathroom in I gave the single roll that is being used and then there is a pole behind it to stack some extra rolls.

I really like this apartment. Nicely laid out, good use of space. Stairs/storage a nice touch. Outside space is useable. Rent is not bad. I would rent this apartment in a heartbeat!

Love this! 9/10. The shower space is very small. Otherwise I love this, lots of natural light, beautiful stairs, plenty of storage options, and outdoor space (overlooking a wonderful garden next door).

The full glass window and open staircase makes the space bright and bigger. It's actually v nice. Ill probably use the loft for friends gathering and spend most of the time downstairs.

8, maybe even 9 out of 10 from me. This is a really nice apartment, and the rent is reasonable. ^^

I love this little loft! I live in a tiny studio in Vancouver (325 sq ft) but the layout is amazing and has high ceilings. I love my tiny studio. When I watch these it makes my place seem bigger, but no matter what place you live in, size doesn’t necessarily matter if you make your place comfortable to live in and keep it tidy. Love your channel

I like the extra sink. I personally would prefer not to have to brush my teeth and wash my face in the kitchen sink.

I like this one! The terrace and storage are wonderful. Granted, I live in a big old 70's house on 1/2 acre. I love to garden and sew, so I could never live in a space this small, no sewing room! But for someone single in the city, this makes a lot of sense.

I like this apart, lots of storage and useable space. I do which it had a tub but for the price and location it’s a great find.

I saw this apartment on Itsudemofudosan the day before. I wasn't for sure at first, so I went back and forth comparing. When I first saw the apartment, the loft seemed bigger. One of the benefits of how you show the apartment, I got a better idea of the size. At first I thought it was bigger and could fit a bed, perhaps a dresser or desk. But now I can see it is small, looks like tatami and probably meant to have a futon. Overall, I liked the apartment. Though I'm not sure if I need a second sink in such a small place. If there was an option, I'd trade a bathtub for the sink. I do like that there is a closet and an area outside even though it is small. There's enough room for a chair. I would give it a 7. If I could stand up in the loft I would have given it an 8.

Yay stairs! Though I would probably still put a bed/sofabed downstairs with a flip table next to the closet, then make the loft a cozy office/living area.

I think Spidey, a cat and I could all be happy in the apartment, I might attach a rug to one of the stairs for my kitty to lay on while watching the birds out the window. It’s efficient and comfortable for one person.
